[ Here comes a certain familiar manjuu with a towel in tow. He hops up, moving to waddle walk toward N as he gets closer. ]

You okay? What happened? Did the city take you?

Mokona!

[ N crouches down to hold out his hands for a hug. ]

Apparently it did! I don't remember any of it, though.

[ The tightest, bestest hung ever! The towel also gets tossed onto N's shoulder before than though. ]

Mokona was asleep for a while so Mokona didn't know but you're okay! That's always a good thing!

You too? Well, I'm glad you are awake now!

[ The dragon's roar is familiar, though she's only ever heard it once. She can see Reshiram long before she sees N, so she begins to walk, rather normally at first, as if still trying to process it. Surely no one else could have a Pokemon like that, right?

After two weeks-- ]

N-kun!

[ N gives her a friendly wave. ]

[Kanda had been fairly worried when he realized his message to N hadn't gone through. And checking the list showed he was missing.]

[But well, that flash of fire is very distracting. Kanda strides over there quickly to see what the fuss is about. And seeing N and his pokemon is a pleasant surprise.]

[ N gives Kanda a grin and a wave. ]

Kanda! Hi!

[ There are also various greetings from the Pokemon in their own tongues. They certainly remember Kanda and his food. ]

[ N shrugs and smiles more. ]

[He's out toting around his own newer eggs (in his bag, of course. It's easier and safer for him to carry them that way), Espeon at his heels, when he heard all that noise. Heading over toward the source of the disturbance, Cheren really wasn't all that surprised to see N there.]

You're finally back, huh? [Espeon, meanwhile, takes a seat next to his trainer, cocking his head to the side as he watches N and his Pokemon.]

I am! But I didn't even know I was gone until they told me --

Oh, hello! You've grown up a lot since I last saw you!

[ N drops to a crouch, holding his hand out towards the Espeon. ]

[Espeon is okay with this attention! He butts his head up against N's hand, since he would like headpats.]

You didn't know you were gone?

[ Headpats he will certainly get. ]

No. I don't remember any of it.

[Jade looks up at the sight. Keeps his hands in his pockets, his smile nonplussed, and eyes fixed on the dragon and its rider.]

[This has certainly livened up a rather boring day.]

[ N feels the stare and turns to blink at the newcomer, giving him an awkward wave of hello. Reshiram, for her part, snorts tufts of flame, then seems to calm down, folding her wings and letting the fire in her tail die down. ]

[He sees the wave but doesn't return it. It's rider is young, surprisingly so, but the dragon's a much more interesting thing to occupy his attention with.]

It's quite the intelligent beast you have there. [Though he isn't necessarily speaking to the boy or to the dragon.]

[ Reshiram turns her head to inspect him as well, though it is hard to say what she is thinking. ]
