[In comes a newbie into the scene. Well, he was taking a stroll to get familiar with the aquatic city, and trying to look for a couple of things. Such a nice site that he found, and sight. He was watching Canada and the ducks for a moment when he stopped near the bench, then smiled quietly.]

Well, aren't they adorable. I didn't think ducks would actually be here too.

[He finally spoke, but in a slow and not-so-loud tone so he wouldn't surprise anyone too much.]

[Unable to quite place the face, Canada offered a polite smile, instead, to the newcomer. He wasn't too sure if they were new or if he had simply never met them before, so he didn't quite ask right away as he figured that it might be rather rude to do so.]

It was a nice surprise when I found them earlier. They're rather friendly once you get to know them. [Though it took a little effort, as with most animals.]

[Assuming from the man's words, it seems that he already made quite the friends with the ducks. He smiled with a friendly air right back at Canada.] I see. Have you been feeding them regularly then, sir?

I have, yes. It's sort of a routine of mine that started off as a small hobby. [A smile accompanied his words as he offered a slight wave of his hand.]

Sir is far too formal for such an occasion. I'm Matthew.

[Oh dear. There goes the ducks but at least now there was a hyper dog to watch. It was a sort of a trade-off in a weird way. On the other hand, it was also nice to see a dog around since it meant that there were other pets around other than the pokemon he knew about and his own.

Offering a smile, he shook his head a bit.] Seems like he's in quite a good mood.

At least he seems to be friendly so that's a good thing. [Thankfully he's relatively harmless so that's a good thing.]

We are. However I'm not quite sure where they've officially came from. They've been here for a while. My best guess is that they've sort of showed up like everyone else tends to do. [It's either that or they're not quite normal ducks. ...which probably isn't all that strange of a thought given the nature of the place.]

*Japan loved walking. Too bad he had been comatose for good about of July. But stretching out his legs once in a while was a good idea right?

Just when he strolls to lake's shore, he spots all too familiar face. Had he come back while he was away. To make sure he wasn't scaring the ducks, he neared Canada carefully.*

Good afternoon Canada-san.

[How he's missed you, Japan. Turning a bit, he offered him a friendly smile and wave.] How have you been, Japan?

I was asleep for few weeks ... But other than that I am well. Thank you.

*Japan looks at Canada curiously before adding.* How about you Canada-san? I hope you had a nice time back home...

O- oh! At least you're doing well now. I hope you're not too sore after being asleep for so long. [He couldn't imagine how stiff someone must be after that.]

I'm just fine, thanks. Things were... as I left them. [Which is good enough, all things considered.]

[... Yeah, this boy here? He was one of the unlucky ones to not know yet. So, when he sees this familiar dear one, he quickly feels a startle on him.]

W - wha?! [POINTING AT...] M - Mattie?

[Sorry Red. He didn't mean not to tell anyone he just... didn't want to cause a stir or anything.]

H- hey Red. Sorry I didn't quite mention to many that I was back yet.

[And he remembers...! Well, you still deserve punishment for not telling. :|

[It's the worst punishment that there is. It's so horrible and punishment-y and terrifying and everything.

The poor ducks have scattered, but it's okay since Canada's hugging back and not letting go.] I missed you so much. Are you doing okay?

[It would seem that Canada simply doesn't know how to stay home for very long at all.

Slightly startled for a moment, he quickly offered a smile and shake of his head.] Of course I don't mind. It's nice to see you're here.
