Listen well. Your selections are no good.
The first one, what character did you have in mind when you chose it? If I had to guess, I would say it was the evil stepmother. That's the wrong inspiration for a Cinderella themed party. Also, a plain napkin like that won't add to the overall polished effect.
As for the second one, don't you think it will become an eyesore if all the napkins have ridiculously elaborate edges like that? The placemats will definitely have laced edges. Napkins like this would be too much.
There's the shade of blue to consider. Setting a theme streamlines your choices of colors and prints. Green, red, purple... These colors are useless to us. When we look at only the blues and whites, the selection becomes much smaller. It's easier to make a decision just looking at those colors, isn't it?

...I don't think I know Cinderella very well, then.

Don't you know the tale of Cinderella?

N-no, it's not that! I thought I knew but then when I thought about it, I wasn't sure.
It was the one with the shoe and the pumpkin, I thought...
It's just...Blood was the one with all the books and he was reading all the time and I always had so much work to do that I didn't really have the time the read a lot!

Recite the story to me. It's no problem if you know the story, right?

There was a girl! And...she...ah...
She was dirty or something and had to clean up after her evil godmother and sisters. And then a fairy showed up and gave her a dress and some shoes and a pumpkin carriage so she could meet a...prince?
[He pauses, clearing his throat and thinking for a moment.]
Yes, it was definitely a prince. She wanted to marry him but at midnight she turned into a pumpkin and lost a shoe. So...the prince had to find her...and I think there was something about toes being cut off and there was blood everywhere!
But, I think he figured out who the shoe belonged too and they got married or something...
[Yes. That's it.]

Wow.
Wow. He is legitimately too shocked for words. He takes a moment to adjust his glasses before he snaps at something. If those napkins were in his hand, he'd be waving them angrily. His fists just shake. How could one retell Cinderella so horribly...!?]
Incorrect! What's that nonsense about blood everywhere?

Well, it was in the shoe at least! How else was the sister supposed to get her gigantic foot in the thing?! She had to cut off her toe!
Reply
There's no blood involved! What good would cutting off one toe do? The foot still wouldn't fit. Besides, it was clear that she wasn't Cinderella!

I'm pretty sure the other one cut off her heel or something...

[That's not even possible. Do you listen to yourself speak!? FINGERPOINT.]
You! Listen carefully. Cinderella earned her name because her face was covered in cinders. When her father died, she was forced to live with her evil stepmother who exploited her for manual labor. Even though her stepsisters wore lavish gowns, they weren't beautiful. Cinderella was beautiful but she was covered in ashes all the time.
[He pauses. Bah. He could have made those stepsisters beautiful no matter how hideous they were. Well whatever. Antagonists weren't meant to be beautiful. Beauty could only be achieved through the spirit. And yes, he was thinking all of this. Actually he thinks it's ridiculous Cinderella didn't stand up against her sisters or fight them for her honor.]When the household received an invitation to the Royal Ball, only Cinderella was forbidden from attending. Her sisters cruelly destroyed her dress to make an excuse of why she was unable to go, and the stepmother and sister left her behind. Cinderella began ( ... )

Have the hare, just staring and nodding slowly. He can't even form sentences that don't involve the words 'crazy' or 'totally insane'.]

[He does at least. But even if he didn't he probably wouldn't admit it.]
