Gazebo + Carriage

This elegant structure in the corner faces the most windows in the hall, and the little carriage is ready and waiting to take you on a loop around the room. Truly the most extravagant thing at the event, but nothing is 'too much' for the Host Club!

Mouri Shin | The Traditional Type

[Shin is dressed as Nereus. Mostly this means he bears a staff, not a trident, and two items attached at his hip: a bound scroll, and a conch shell. He is wearing a toga with a simple rope belt and slips for shoes, to appear as if barefoot. His hair is also pulled back in a short ponytail.

He's hanging out between the gazebo and the carriage, watching the happy people. This is second event, but his first time really participating fully.]

Mizuno-san! [He brightens at her approach] Yes, I am; it's nice to see so many smiling faces in one place.

It's definitely a nice change! It seems like everything's been so gloomy lately.

I couldn't agree more. I hope you're enjoying yourself. [He tugs on a shoulder of the toga.] This is nothing after some of the strangeness we've been through lately.

Dog trolling

[What could he say? He was bored at home, and with Shin out at this 'Host Club' thing, he couldn't help his curiosity. So, now he found himself sneaking into the elaborately set up room and sniffing out his friend.

He couldn't help the small dog-laugh that escaped him at the sight of Shin's outfit, although, he had to admit, Shin looked excellent in it. Still, he hung back, sitting by the edge of the gazebo, watching. This was much more entertaining.]

[For most of the afternoon, Shin doesn't even notice the dog slyly wandering around the room. It isn't until he's looking directly at one of the fluffy white masses that the jet-black creature passing behind it catches his eye.]

Wait... he's not...

[Shin moves around to get a better look, piece of baklava still in hand and mouth slightly open.]

It is Syr!

[Sirius had really been having fun, wandering around, sniffing new things and new people, listening to a few conversations, however, his favorite part was Shin's face when he finally noticed Sirius was there.

He took a few steps towards Shin with his ears perked and tail wagging. Isn't he adorable, Shin?]

[Shin is not amused, roomie. He narrows his eyes, very clearly moving between 'wtf are you doing here?' and then quirking an eyebrow up for 'do you have to be trolling everyone as a dog?' He's not sure if he'd feel any differently about it if Sirius had come in normally.]

[Hmmm....to leave or to keep it up? He hoped Shin wasn't really upset with him, but, he decided to try and curry some favor.

He trotted up to Shin and looked up at him, 'smiling'. Then he gave one long lick up Shin's knee and sat at his feet looking quite pleased with himself.]

[Thanks to White Blaze, Shin was a little familiar with a much larger 'pet' meandering around him, but the lick was a surprise.]

Ah! [He then shot a very confused look down at Sirius.] I'm supposed to be charming guests, you know, not worrying about dog hair in the lentil soup.

[Finally, he just kneels down to whisper] You couldn't have come attired differently?

[Not that he'd be interested in lentil soup, c'mon, Shin, really. He looks at him, a little bit like a scorned puppy, complete with a little whine.

However, he can't resist this opportunity, so, he licks Shin's too-close face and 'grins'.]

[ The last time this happened, Shin hadn't been aware of who 'the dog' actually was. This time, Shin is perfectly aware, and jolts his spine straight after the lick. He's just a bit embarrassed - not only is kissing against Host Club policy, but it's also Sirius of all people.

A very faint blush appears on his face.] You're... doing this on purpose. [Part statement of fact, part accusation.]

[marauderinggrim]

[Sirius just gives a 'shrug' and moves off a bit. Then, quietly, the dog morphs into the man, who steps closer to Shin, probably too close, but, he was trying to remain hidden as well. All part of the 'game'.]

Probably. Anyway, I was bored waiting around at home; I wanted to see what you were doing. And here I find you with all these pretty people, I'm amazed.

[To say Shin is surprised would be an understatement. He'd been squatting down, and now has to take a step back into a full kneel.]

You- [He looks around, but clearly a dog morphing into a human is one of the least strange things in the room.]

I told you it was a social club, a way to network and meet people. That's it. What more is there to see?
