Whoa, hey, easy there, champ.

[Lifting his hands in the classic 'I'm unarmed' gesture, Axel steps fully out from behind the tree he was passing, shaking his head.] Just passing through, stranger; I didn't even know you were out here. [His hands still in the air, he points one finger skyward, to the hawk still circling.] Quite the watchdog you've got there.

[He lowers his sword, though he definitely hasn't let down his guard. As he lifts up his free arm, the hawk flies down to perch on it.]

She wouldn't be as good of a companion if she weren't.

[Axel doesn't move as the sword is lowered--he knows better than to approach, despite his curiosity--and angles his head. He's seen birds as pets before, as messengers, but never quite like this. Letting his arms fall to his sides, he pauses a moment, then folds them.]

You must be new. [Or paranoid. Or both.] I think I would have noticed a bird like that before--did you just arrive? [He's a bit far from the plaza; quite the self-sufficient newbie.]

[Luckily, Glenn's reflexes are as sharp as ever and he brings his sword up in a defensive manner.]

[He lowers his sword somewhat, though the fact that Glenn has his own sword puts him on edge.]

... I apologize, then. I'd rather not let my guard down in this place, however.

[Glenn lowers his sword and slides it back into it's scabbard before extending one hand. After all, he still had his magic should the man prove to be less than friendly.]

You are new here, are you not? I am known as Glenn, knight of the Kingdom of Gaurdia, I assure you, there is little to fear here.

[He's still for a moment, before returning the favour and sheathing his own sword. Thankfully, he isn't like other members of his party-he doesn't see the point in attacking people who mean no harm.]

[Masamune is close enough that he instinctively draws one of his own swords in a diagonal motion to knock the blade off-course. The tip of the katana remains sheathed, not fully drawn as Masamune grins. Relax, hawk guy.]

[Feng-Wu frowns in return, if only because that smile does nothing to calm his nerves.

He also doesn't lower his sword because um. He no speak English, geez. :| What the hell are you saying-]

[The grin eases. The guy doesn't understand English. He takes one step to the side and sheathes his katana.]

Don't get so worked up.

[Well, that's better. Feng-Wu doesn't sheath his sword, but he does lower it into a mostly non-threatening position.
