Characters: Carl Clover (plus Nirvana his sister) and vatheon Location: The Plaza, near the coral. Time: Early evening/late afternoonish. Style: First please. Status: SO OPEN! Like a rabbit pulled out of a magic tophat!
A familiar looking catgirl is walking around aimlessly, humming a little tune composed of meows. She continues doing so until she spots Carl and Nirvana. She instantly stops her singing and stares at the boy.
"Meow...that person looks familiar. But who could it be-"
And then, an epiphany! She enthusiastically runs up to the boy and his puppet pal. "It's Shorty and Hard Guy, meow! Tao didn't even know you were here!"

Wha--Carl nearly bolts upright, but staggers due to unanticipated exhaustion on top of the fact he was wounded to begin with. Even though Litchi patched him up, he's still hurt, but watch him be a big boy and... fall down with an 'ouch!'
"... Y-you... you're, um... that cat... person." A pause as he tries to remember what he vaguely heard Litchi call her as he regained consciousness. "... Um... Tao? W-where am I?"
"That's right, I'm Taokaka, meow!" Taokaka shakes her head at the boy.
"We're in a weird underwater city place. Tao isn't exactly sure where it is, meow, except that it's underwater! But the food is free so it's awesome!" Tao feels she has told the boy the most important bits of info.
Uh... right, then. Wobbling child is just... gonna settle for resting on his sister right now. He's really too tired to make himself get up right yet. He blinks, and finally notices what the weird wavey lines on the floor were when he looks up, and is immediately horrified.
"T... the... ocean?!" WHAT. What is this nonsense? Wasn't he just on top of a MOUNTAIN? Where the heck is Kagutsuchi? And that suspicious girl at the clinic? "... U-um, Miss... Tao, how do I go back to Kagutsuchi? I... I have to get back." Carl moves to stand up, and with a little help from his puppet, semi-succeeds.
I... I am switching to first out of laziness /sobcantataofgraceJuly 2 2010, 00:32:59 UTC
[ Carl frowns and... immediately backs up away from her. Actually, he is not okay. Feel free to notice he's acting totally weird. He clings to the doll a bit, stands up--coughs, and then, shakily, tries to look about... as threatening as a wet kitten. ]
... W-who are you?! Why did you take me and my sister here? Are you working with Sector Seven?! You can't take her!
[ Almost defensively, the doll stands up beside Carl, electrical noises as it kicks into life. YES, it moves on it's own. Yes, it is alive. And he assumes this is Litchi's doing and he's been kidnapped. ]
Oh, no, no, it's not like that. Um......how do I explain this? This is like some kind of weird underwater city in another dimension that pulls in people from other dimensions. Does that make sense? None of us know why we're here.
[She pauses.]
Your sister? Is she here, too?
[Huh? She looks around. Also, what is the doll moving like that? That is some advanced toy technology.]
[ Not believing it for a second, Carl gathers his remaining strength, trying to put distance between himself and Touka. Nirvana locks onto her, entering a battle stance. But he'll hear her out.
... Touka looks like a young girl, and he can't just up and attack her, but... she said that. Carl warily looks at her, an almost... possessed look to his eyes. ]
... She's right here.
[ He looks like he'll TRY to attempt an attack any minute, though. ]
[Oh shit what is he doing here? What happened to the cauldron and Noel? Where was Terumi? He has so many questions, but no answers to any of them.
He finds himself walking around Vatheon, cursing himself like he usually does. Then he noticed something out of place. He carefully approached the panicking child and decided to inquire about him. In all honesty, Ragna feels as if he has no momentum in him at all but the kid needs help right? So why not.]
[ ... The marionette clicks into high gear, standing up immediately, and Carl with it--albeit, wobbly. From under his soaked tophat... he can tell that is DEFINITELY Ragna the Bloodedge. ]
... T... to run into him here, Sis... we're definitely lucky, aren't we...? Haha...
[ A dangerous giggle. Nooot a good sign. ] Oh, no, we're okay now. But... if you could hand over your Azure Grimoire right here, this won't have to get messy.
[He isn't a Vigilante is he? That would explain why he's after the Grimoire, but that's strange. Rachel told him earlier that this place didn't have vigilantes. Stupid Rabbit. Stupid Stupid. ]
[Stops, looking over at the kid and his...whatever that thing is. Inuyasha can tell that the boy is human, but the contraption with him definitely isn't. He stares at them for a few more moments before calling over.]
Hey kid! You might wanna quit laying on the ground before someone steps on ya!
[ Oh, no, that contraption feels like it's killed a lot of things and is extremely dangerous, in fact. But holding it's hand, the soaked young man manages to lift himself up with it's aid (yes, it's alive, that puppet), and stares at Inuyasha, looking... well. Pitiful, really. Soaked to the bone, tired, and recently wounded. ]
... My apologies.
[ Only not really, what a jerk. Still, be polite... ] This... this isn't where we're supposed to be, Mister. Do you know where we are? Sis doesn't know either, so any information you could give us would be very helpful... if it isn't too much to ask.
[ He frowns, still sopping wet, gloves and all. Noticing the discomfort in this, he fidgets a little. He's still on guard, but is too tired to fight. The marionette makes a brief electrical noise, as if in response to something, but it says nothing. ... And yet, Carl seems to have thought it did. ]
... What's wrong, Sis? ... Hm...? A barrier? Above us...? That explains all the water being kept out, then... [ After a moment, he turns to Inuyasha. ]
... I understand, then... it's because there's no exit, is there? The barrier here must be a very powerful Ars. I'm not sure it's something even we could crack, Sis...
[ A downcast, kind of gloomy sigh. This isn't good at all. ] I realize going out of your way to help us must be very troublesome... Mister... um... I... I don't know your name, I'm sorry.

[ Nodoka was used to walking through town and picking up newcomers; when she spotted large machine with a small child in the middle of the plaza however, she panicked a little. Dashing over, she skidded to a halt when she looked at him.
The resemblance was uncanny. He looked so much like Negi-sensei that, for a moment, she was completely fooled. Clearing her throat a little, she moved forward; this was not Negi-sensei and he was a child alone with... A protective robot. Almost like Chachamaru-san. ]
A-Are you alright? I can find you a change of clothes if you want it...
IT'S OKAY OKAY OKAY OKAY *A*cantataofgraceJuly 2 2010, 12:49:13 UTC
[ Yes well, thankfully Carl is blond and it's a little easy to be fooled, but he fixes his glasses to get a better look at Nodoka. Well, she's young like him, so she probably isn't any danger. He decides to trust her for now. ]
Um... t-that would be helpful. I don't suppose you could tell me how to get back to the 13th Hierarchical city of Kagutsuchi, could you...? Um... we were kind of in a hurry, so if there's any way we can leave and just, maybe get back... like an airship... I promise I'll pay you as soon as I can!
[ Nodoka smiles brightly. Oh, goodness, he is just as cute as Negi-sensei was when he first arrived at Mahora academy. A little flustered she shakes her head, holding up a hand. ]
You don't have to pay for anything here, b-but... I'm afraid there's no way home right now. Can you see? We're surrounded by a barrier. We're in a city called Vatheon and we're stuck - at least for now.
[ ... Carl tries to bite back the feeling of urgency. He looks up and--yes, indeed, along with some odd clouds, there is a barrier. ]
Vatheon, huh... [ He's never even heard the name before now. This isn't good at all. ] ... I see. So the clouds are somewhat obscuring of it, but it's definitely there, isn't it, Sis? You can sense it, too... it must be a very powerful Ars to keep water out at this depth.
[ He seems disappointed, and a bit worried. But despite how sick he feels right now, and the fact he hurts from Taokaka's little fight earlier, he won't complain. Instead he looks far too calm for a boy in this situation; far too mature. ] ... I'm sorry to trouble you further, but do you know if a man named Ragna the Bloodedge is here...?

She runs over and crouches by the boy. There's some kind of -- giant -- doll? beside him. Awww.

Keh! Like any of us are supposed to be here. It's called Vatheon, and you'd better start getting used to it.
[Glances back at the humanoid device. The boy had called it 'Sis', but there was no way that it could be his sister. Could it?]
