[To say finding an unconscious Demyx was what he expected this morning would be telling a huge lie.
He is, in fact, dwelling over his and SEES' own inability to take out those shadows--they had tried when Fuuka had sensed the creatures, but they hadn't been able to even lay a scratch on one--
He freezes, pulling off his headphones, and blinks.
And then his pace quickens, and he crouches beside the Nobody, reaching for his wrist to feel for a pulse before he realizes--no heart? Would there even...
Hesitation, and then instead he simply reaches for his Evoker first. You can have a healing spell first, Demyx, even if you aren't injured--at the very least it would leave a warm feeling and chase away the unconsciousness.
[Needless to say, Lea hadn't been able to get to sleep. He'd been waiting, huddled outside Axel's doors, hood pulled over his head. The whole night had been wasted just praying that Demyx would turn up.
When morning came and there was still no sign, Lea had of course rushed out, still clad in his black coat.
First stop- Nostalgia Nook. Of course.
When he sees Demyx, his heart just about collapses in simultaneous relief and worry. In a heartbeat, he's there, crouched by him.]
[Well, at least one of the workers in the kitchen back inside Victori didn't find him or he might be in trouble for dripping water all over the floors.
[It had been a weird night. Axel had known Lea was sitting outside his door, but he'd had a feeling the kid would have flipped out if he'd invited him in. Lea was an odd bird sometimes, and while Axel could certainly appreciate that need to be independent, he wished sometimes that Lea would just admit he couldn't do everything himself. And so he had let him sit out there in the hall, and when his presence had started to fade from distance, he had risen from the couch and followed him. If Lea had been sent to his place, then something had happened to Demyx. And since Lea had sat there all night, Demyx hadn't come back.
Far be it from Axel to show his concern about most things, but it's not like he wants anything to have happened to Demyx, so once Lea's beyond where he can sense the boy's presence, Axel opens a portal and heads into town. After checking the plaza and the park, he heads to the nook. Finding just about anyone else soaking wet might have been strange, but it's Demyx. It's the posture that seems wrong more than the

[Rough doesn't even begin to explain it. Demyx would probably explain it himself if that tap hadn't awkwardly toppled him over onto his side. Normally he'd protest about it even if he was just sleeping, but this is a little bit different. Lea had been his primary concern last night--why he had stayed behind instead of following him was a mystery to him, considering he rarely fought back against creatures whether they be human, Heartless, or something else entirely. At the very least he wasn't injured.]
Whoa--! [Snapping his hand out to grab a fistful of Demyx's sleeve, Axel tugs him back upright and then pushes away from the wall to crouch in front of him. He lightly slaps Demyx's cheek with one gloved hand, frowning.] Oi, Demyx, you in there? Come on, man, up and at 'em. If you're dead or somethin' Lea'll find a way to make it my fault.
[Yeouch, that gets a small sound of protest at the first slap. Eventually he finally comes around, eyes cracking open just a hair to focus on his surroundings. Bricks, pavement, Axel--
[It wasn't that he was cold or cruel or anything, it was just that he wasn't exactly warm and caring, either. Well, not in the usual sense anyway. Having come upont he passed out form of someone he didn't quite recognise, he first nudged him with the tip of his shoe to see if he received a response.
This wasn't quite the normal, no, but it wasn't exactly all too odd of a thing. He did realise, however, that something probably happened.]
[There's a soft protest when the shoe nudges him, and some minutes after he's slowly coming to. Dizzy, Demyx tilts his head up a bit to focus on the voice.]
[That was a good sign. At least they were still alive. In some sense of the word, anyway, as one never quite knew around Vatheon. Kneeling down beside him, he tried to get a closer look to see if he was injured.]
...Yeah. The shadows were moving. They attacked, me 'n Lea--We ran and I shoved him into a corridor that took him back to the apartments. I... I think I blacked out after that when they pounced on me.

Minato simply waits, crouched there, expression concerned.]

It's a minute before he even thinks about moving. You can never be sure when the rescuer could be a threat in his experience.
Of course, Minato is anything but, which is why he carefully pushes himself up on his elbows with a dazed look.]
...Minato?

Yes, that's right. Are you alright, Demyx-san? What happened?

But nope, it's just Lea.

Don't know the damage yet... But everything'll be okay.

[Weakly, he tries to push Lea's hands away. He's coming around slowly, just give him a few minutes.]
