[ In the Plaza, above the bustle of people, one might hear the notes of an ocarina playing a soft, slow song. Just following the sound will bring you to a certain princess, who has perched on a low wall, and is swaying slightly as she plays the blue

I thought she was already here...

[ Zelda opens her eyes and -- !

Well that was unexpected. She abruptly stops playing. ]

Link?

When did you --

[ She stands, but then hesitates to move towards him. ]

Link. He never has enough icons.

[It's just as well, he would've taken a startle step away.]

--Y'know, I gotta ask first. Do you remember Midna?

[Since...this is the second Zelda he's found. At least this one was the right size.]

As someone who just spent yesterday iconning...I understand.

Minda? ...no, I do not believe so.

[ What an odd question. ]

[ The melody is soothing, and one that catches the attention of Hubert. Off to investigate, he's more than a little surprised when he sees who's playing the music. ]

. . . Princess?

[royalsheikah]

[ Zelda stops playing and looks up, a smile crossing her face. ]

Hubert! It is good to see you again.

[ Even if it means being in Vatheon again. ]

[obsequience]

[ His hand flies up to the bridge of his nose, settling right above his glasses. Too fast, this is going too fast. ]

Y-yes. It is nice to see you . . . again.

[ She notices he seems uncomfortable for some reason, but her smile does not fade. ]

How have you been in -- whatever time it is I have been gone?

[lunardancing]

[ The sound of music is enough to draw Dawn in, and she stands nearby, listening. What a pretty song... ]

[ It plays on for a while, until Zelda is in need of a break; Vatheon tires her quite significantly, especially at first. She lowers the ocarina to her lap and takes a breath, before looking around and spotting Dawn. ]

Hello there.

[lunardancing]

[ Dawn smiles when she's spotted, walking a little closer. ]

Hello. That was beautiful.

Thank you.

I do not think we have met. What is your name?

[While out on her walk, Mion can't help but pause as the music washes over her. Glancing over, she takes in the sight of the strange woman. The instrument she's playing is unfamiliar, but the song it plays is still beautiful.]

[ Zelda only seems to notice Mion after she finishes the song, though she gives her a smile. ]

[Blinking, Mion gives Zelda a large grin in return.]

Hey! That was pretty well done. What kind of instrument is that?

Thank you. It's an ocarina.

[ She holds it out to show her. ]

[Instead of words, Zelda is greeted with a song as well; a few mysterious notes come from nearby, shortly followed by a more complete song. It sounds like there should be more, but it's player leaves the song at that for now.

It sounds like the music is coming from up above - on-top of a nearby ledge. If she happens to look that way, a rather extravagant man is standing there, flute still poised at his lips.]

[ She does, a smile appearing for a brief moment as she listens. Once the music pauses she plays again, this song much less soft and more energetic, a playful greeting of sorts. ]

[letsgoonmyouji]

[A brief chuckle and a smile - and after listening for awhile, Waka will mimic her song, playing along on his flute.]

[ She plays along for a while until she needs to rest her fingers, setting down the ocarina to laugh and clap lightly instead. ]
