[Oh look a library! Perhaps by looking at the books, she might be able to get a fair idea of where they are, then again, that might be something everyone has already tried. Nothing wrong with learning more, though.]

[As she walks past a shelf, she notices the young man struggling for a book.]

Luka! [Smile, almost relieved to see a familiar face]
Thank you for this. I figured I'd do a bit of research as well as asking the locals. [Flips through the book, still feeling sightly embarrassed]
Sadly, I haven't found anything of any real interest yet...though the so-called healing properties of the coral? That's always seemed a little odd to me.
TOGETHER, WE WILL FORM OUR OWN DERP SQUAD! I mean... of course!xlillackeykittyMay 28 2011, 12:34:27 UTC
The coral's always been weird. A friend of mine who disappeared a while back and I... we were trying to look into it. It glows, the glow dims, it restores us... Who knows what it's gonna do?
That and the locals seem to worship it. Beats me why though. Maybe because of the healing properties.
SUPER DERP BOYS TO THE RESCUEcardinalistMay 28 2011, 17:35:37 UTC
...I suppose its healing properties would seem god-like. [The look on his face makes it clear he's not too pleased with this idea]
Hm. .....Has anyone tried to...you know. .....Attack it? Or take pieces of it? [He's sure he sounds ridiculous but in his mind, he's wondering what good a sample of the coral may do in the right scientific hands...]
[Man, Lavi loved books. He was particularly curious about the literature in this world. Being a Bookman, that is, a recorder of events, history interested him in particular. As he rounded the shelf, he was a somewhat familiar face. Who was seemingly having trouble getting a book]
[He's quite good with both names and faces...and Lavi had quite an unforgettable hairstyle after all. Suzaku immediately smiles, friendlier than he would normally]
That's me. [Still embarrassed] If you could, Lavi, that'd....that'd be pretty great actually.
Though, how have you been? [He did seem less rattled than when he first got here, after all]
YES FINALLY OHMYGODeffierMay 29 2011, 20:20:18 UTC
[Effy's wandering the aisles of the library, which isn't odd, she's just never been to the library in Vatheon before. She's looking for Greek myths, but on her way to the section that held the books she wanted, she came across someone who looked rather .... troubled. Because they're too short.
I DONT KNOW. POSSIBLYeffierMay 29 2011, 20:51:25 UTC
If you're going to lie, at least come up with a better excuse than that.
[She takes a few steps closer, close enough that they're almost touching. With that know-it-all smirk still on her face, she places her left foot on one of the lower shelves and boosts herself up to the shelf with the book that Suzaku wants, grabbing it from between two other books and holding it out to him, still balancing herself on the shelf.]
[What. What is this. He tries to contain his blush. He tells himself it's because of too many long months being in the military with too many men and well...manly women. He tries to distract himself, taking the book.]
Thank you...miss. I'm sorry you just...caught me off guard, is all.

Ah...sorry. I think it got away from us. [Small laugh] Vatheon is just full of surprises!

[He walked over to the shelf, and quickly plucked the book from the self, handing it over.] History of Deep Reef Research, huh? Ya into history?
[Another smile] I've been good. Still wrapping my head around this whole place, but good. And how are ya?
