[ And a small smirk curls on his lips. There is no fear due to his having dealt with creatures of this ilk time and time again. ]

I forsee... a very interesting partnership between us... if you would be so interested.

[Partnership. The only 'partnership' he ever had was with Tim, but he wasn't very ... smart sometimes. He had gotten himself hurt, after all. This one held more ... poise. He seemed smarter. It wouldn't be the same, but he could test it.

'I am interested.']

[ And a small smirk. So glad you think well of him. ]

I am sure there is someone in this city that interests you... someone you've targeted for whatever reason.

If you have such a target, I could aid in its acquisition...

[New proxy. This will work.

'Its name is Ciel.'

He had been stalking him for quite some time, only to realize that someone is planning a 'get-together' with everyone else to try and plan against him.]

Ciel... I've seen the boy around the city once in a while.

[ Titchy thing, has an eyepatch, demonic contract? Must be the right Ciel. ]

It would be easier for me to get into his inner circle... perhaps lure him out into the open...

[ But he pauses a moment. ]

Why the interest in the boy?

['Hu...mans are fragile. It ... is simply -- because I am ab..le to.'

Humans think that they are untouchable beings; invincible to some degree. It was foolish to let so many of them become rampant.]

[ Interesting outlook. To choose a target simply because he is able to. The boy interests Slendy, the demon however interests the doctor. ]

Humans are indeed fragile which causes delusions of grandeur and hopes for immortality at a point. Futile dreams.

['Too fragile'.

It was one of those things that he could explain easily, but at the same time not be able to. No one understood how it felt when he was able to just ... kill. Easily. Too easily.]

Despite all the advances in medicine, a life is so easily snuffed out by a single deft stroke be it from a blade or something of their own doing.

[ A sigh. True immortality was simply not meant for humans. ]

But getting back to business.

[ A small smirk curls on his lips. So his bewailing about humanity's futility was shared~ A kindred spirit indeed. ]

It would be a touch easier for me to keep an eye on the boy for you. Rest assured, I will keep this little... agreement... of ours secret. Certainly saves us trouble.

['How can I trust you?'

If it was one thing Slenderman knew about completely was the ability to betray. One minute they could be on your side, the next, well ... we don't need to go there. We all know what happens to snitches.]

[ A very tiny smirk. ]

You can see for yourself, the power I have control over. What would I gain from betraying you when we seem to have common interests?

[Slenderman thought this over before gliding to the side to examine Muraki even more.

'I will decide.']

[ The darkness is practically swelling off this guy. Slendy may also be able to pick up the magical residue off some parts of the forest where he'd used so much energy it never really disappeared. ]

Take all the time you need.

[Slenderman returns the statement with a small nod before giving a some-what human gesture: a wave. He'd never done it before, but he was curious as to how it felt. Waving.

He looks at his hand. No, no it wasn't worth it at all. Humans. Silly humans. So, he drops his hand to his side and passes by Muraki, deeper into the forest.]
