Date Place: The Pirate's Ship is a great place to explore. Don't mind the drunken pirate ghosts, they won't hurt you. Do be careful of the floor, though. It can't be in good shape after being underwater for so long.
Date Time: Afternoon

[[This is ridiculous, though she isn't beyond admitting that she deserves it. She had, after all, signed up four people who were likely just as unwilling to attend such a thing as she was.

...Okay, maybe only three. Eridan seemed like the desperate type.

That aside, however, what is even more ridiculous is the location. Last she checked, dates usually happened at places like the movies, right? Ice cream parlors? Malls? Though did Vatheon even have any of those? And it is entirely possible she could be wrong. She isn't exactly go-to expert on dating.

For once, she's wearing jeans; A pirate ship with questionable flooring just didn't sound like the place to run around wearing a skirt in. As much as she would have liked to 'dress nice' for the occasion. Oh well. Her 'date' would have to deal with casual wear.

Speaking of, where was this mystery person? As much as she was kind of hoping they would back out...she didn't exactly want to stand there and look like a fool waiting either.]]

[[Huh. What is he doing here? As much as he enjoyed adventure, and while yes this is a pirate ship likely filled with ghosts, he...really hadn't been venturing out a whole lot lately. Maybe the fact that not only was Soul gone - because she signed him up, and knew he would go - but she was as well is what coaxed him out of the house.]]

Have you come to explore the ship?

[[With a smile, she carefully leans back against the hull, mindful of it's stability and any pieces of wood that might not be that comfortable to rest against.]]

I've heard some fairly interesting rumors about it. Something about ghosts.

...Really?

[[What a pleasant turn of events. Pulling her SFC, she opens it to the text she had received, offering it out to her friend.]]

Did the text happen to look something like this?

Your date? Seems like it. I hope that isn't too much of a disappointment, seeing as we see each other every day.

[[With that she loosely gestures towards the entrance of the ship, wondering if he'd catch it while his head seems to be out in space.]]

If that's not a problem, shall we?

That's good, but I hardly see how this is better. You could be meeting other people for a change, John. Instead of being such a hermit and staying inside.

[[Not like she was one to talk, but at least she could admit what she was doing probably wasn't the healthiest of habits. Taking his hand with a thank you, Rose followed without complaint. After all, John was being so chill right now. She'd almost confuse him with her brother.

I don't mind.

[[And that was all he was given as she ducked her head into the ship to have a glance around. Once she deemed it was safe - seemingly none of the mentioned ghosts wandering about, and the floor looked stable enough - she took a step inside.]]

This is much...larger than I had been anticipating. I always imagined the insides of a boat to be far more compact.

Well of course they are, John, but it isn't as if I've ever stepped foot on one before.

[[Dropping his hand, she moves further inside, glancing over the walls and floor and any items that might be left.]]

And, unlike you, I have not viewed a vast amount of movies that may or may not involve pirates to give me a better idea.

Oh, and what makes them superior?

[[That suits her fine. The more they ramble about his tastes, the less they do about hers, and the more interesting the 'date' becomes.

Perhaps other rooms are more worth exploring. The front room - is that what this would be called? - was just a tad empty. And so, she starts venturing through one of the doors.]]
