He wasn't really expecting much from this blind date, the main reason he'd signed up was to meet new people. The longer he stayed in this city the more he found there were people here with experiences even he hadn't had, and it fascinated him.

Oh wait, what's that? It's the sound of running foot steps from around the corner along with a worried yelp. "AMI-CHAN! WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE JUST COME TO MY APARTMENT AND TOLD ME YOURSEEEEEEEEEEEELF!"
And then barrelling around the corner comes Usagi, her blonde pigtails flailing in the wind as she rushes to her destination. "Please don't have left. Please don't have left. Please don't have le----- eh?"
That eh, ladies and gentlemen? That would be her tripping over a bit of the pavement that was uneven with the rest of the sidewalk and making a one way meeting with the ground with her face.

... oh god that meant someone actually saw that disaster. Her face turns a very dark red and she tries to laugh off the embarrassment.
"Oh, oh yeah! I'm fine!" A little scuffed up but otherwise she's fine. "I'm used to it! It's no big deal!"

"If you're sure. You've got to be more careful, wouldn't want a pretty face such as yours getting scuffed on the pavement."

Oh, Jack. You charmer. You've just made Usagi's face brighten up. She's about to say something else when she spots her target destination ahead and it snaps in her brain that she's still "Oh! Thank you for helping me! But, I'm still running late for my blind date!"
Little did she know that her date was right in front of her...

He made a vague motion off towards the building.
"Where are you supposed to meet the lucky guy?"

Reaching into her purse, she starts digging through a few things before she pulls out her SFC. Usagi starts searching the little communicator trinket before she finds the text message that Ami had sent her and re-reads it, "I'm supposed to meet them at Frosty's!"
. . . . . .
"AHHH! I'M STILL LATE! I NEED TO GET GOING!"
And like that, she's about to start off again, and quite possibly get herself into another klutz attack. Sigh.

It hasn't sunk in that her date is literally in front of her. Usagi just thinks that Frosty's is a hot date spot or something.

"Although, I'm fairly certain she's blonde."

Hold on a second. Usagi's just going to reach for one of her hair tails and look at it. Blonde. She's then going to look at Frosty's, then back to Jack and..
Ah, there we go. That look of slow realization means that it's finally sinking in just who it is that she's talking to.
"Oh."

"Yep, I don't think I'd be wrong in assuming you're my date and vise-versa."
He offered her his hand in greeting.
"Captain Jack Harkness, Ma'am, and who might you be?"
