[ Here's a doctor. A somewhat amused doctor. So someone set him on a date. Certainly, Alpha had nothing to do with this. Whoever it was would either get a thank you or a serious talking to depending on how this went.

Either way, this finds him standing by the doorway of Hagakure with a small bouquet of roses in arm. Just to be polite, of course, to whoever he'd been set up with. ]

[Hajime arrived against his better judgment. It would be rude not to show up entirely, even if he hadn't willingly signed himself up. It was just a date. A "date". That didn't have to mean a romantic candlelit dinner and holding hands while walking on the beach shore. (N-Not that those were his kind of date fantasies anyway...!) Besides, how romantic could ramen possibly be? Perhaps he could ask for some candles...

In any case, Hajime had his doubts. It could simply be a date in the sense of any other day which had a number affixed to it and a special meeting. Yes.

But Hajime at least thought it would be a woman. He passed Muraki at first, looking around for any other stagnant woman who might be waiting for him. There were none. Still, he wasn't going to believe this. He decided to stand next to Muraki to wait for his date. It was a good waiting spot, after all. It wasn't his business what the man there was doing so he wasn't going to ask, though it appeared that he, too, was waiting for a partner. He checked his blind date note to

SO VIOLENT, OUR ENTRIES.

[ The doctor glanced at Hajime a moment, watching the other man wandering about. The way he checked his SFC message gave the doctor the one teeny hunch that they'd both been given a message.

Could he be...?

Muraki certainly wasn't opposed to seeing another man. Certainly, Hajime was easy on the eyes but he was no Tsuzuki. Not wanting to make assumptions, however, he decides to play the safe route. He waits til Hajime stops his movement before speaking up. ]

I've been told the ramen here is exceptional.

SUBTLETY IS FOR LOSERS.

[Hajime glances at Muraki. Who is this guy and why is he talking to him? He's annoyed, sure, but Hajime gets annoyed at everybody. He crosses his arm as a signal but answers politely.]

It's my first time coming here.

[He then looks away, absentmindedly murmuring to himself.] Why ramen for a date?

REAL MEN CHARGE THROUGH.

[ Thus confirming his speculation. Of course he heard that. Whoever he had to blame for this... well... who knows. He might be able to emerge from this night with something interesting. ]

Perhaps whoever set us up assumes we'd miss food from back home.

Unfortunately, I have. I assumed you probably received the same summon I have?

[ The doctor pulls out his SFC and turns the display to reveal the message sent to him. ]

TO DEFEAT THE TSUNS! DID THEY SEND ME PERVERTS WHEN I ASKED FOR GIRLS?

[Hajime glances over the communicator's note. He nods, showing his own.]

My message is the same.

[...Oh.]

THIS IS THE SADDEST DATE I EVER HAD BUT YOU CAN BET BEFORE WE'RE THROUGH.

I'd expected as much. Whoever set us up either had their selections on random or assumed we favored.... hmm...

[ He chuckles. Not gonna say it. But anyway, have the flowers offered to you. ]

[That's when he's given the flowers. He pushes them back to Muraki.]

Why are you giving me these? I'm a man!

[ Oh, this was rich. Just take em, Hajime. It'll save you both the trouble. ]

It is customary to give one's date flowers upon meeting them for the first time, after all.

Since we got the same message, I would dare to imply that we were set up with each other.

I apologize. After all, I was under the impression I'd be meeting with a lady so I came prepared.

I must admit... it's been a while since I've had something from home. Kyoto tends to spoil you in terms of food.
