[Guess who was going to catch up with Alice? to walk him home? One Mr. H. He knew the kid wasn't feeling well by the way he was acting, so when he turns the corner and sees him dead, it's a bit of a shock. At first, he thinks it's impossible and quickly moves forward to grab Alice?'s wrist and check. Nothing. He slips off the mask and opens one of his eyes, of course they're dull and lifeless. Looking around, Mr. H rubs the back of his neck.]

What the hell am I supposed to do...?

[Crowley strides out of the ball, but then stops as he sees the body. He wanders over, bends down, and checks his pulse. Nothing. He stands back up, looking around for anyone else, but he's alone for now.

The demon curses under his breath.]

Great. Just bloody great. I knew it was all too good to be true...

[benevolist]

[ The angel moves to stand beside his friend, looking down at the body sadly. He's seen too much death to be too overtly affected, but inside he's praying for the boy that he barely knew and attempting to wrap his mind around who could have killed him. ]

It did seem a little too jovial, didn't it, my dear.

[scaresplants]

[Crowley looks back up at his friend, frowning pensively. It's not like he cared about humans and their deaths- it's just that he didn't particularly like it when humans killed other humans. It reminded him especially of the Son of Man and the ways some people became more evil than demons could ever hope to be...]

...Yeah. [He sighs.] It's like all of this partying and happiness was nothing more than some bloody illusion for something like this.

I cannot possibly imagine who would have wanted to do this. Alice - that was his name - seemed like such a polite person.

[ The angel pauses and glances at the demon before taking a breath and whispering. ]

All-powerful and merciful God, we commend to you, Alice, your servant. In your mercy and love, blot out all the sins he has committed through human weakness. In this world he has died: let him live with you for ever.

[Touka spots Alice leaving the ball, looking sick. She runs after him, planning to drag him to the clinic, or find Juri-san so she can help. But when she gets outside she finds him on sprawled on the ground. She kneels beside him.]

Alice-san, come on, wake up. We have to get you help.

[She shakes him lightly. Very lightly.]

Alice-san, come on. Wake up.

What happened here, Miss...?

[ A slight indifferent, calculating gaze is a go ]

[Touka looks up at him.]

Alice-san is sick and he won't wake up. We have to get him to the clinic.

It looks far more severe than that.

[ But he nods ]

How long has he been here like this?

[ Nodoka stumbled across the body and is staring at it in horror. She had thought Vatheon was a nice, quiet place, but obviously she had been mislead. She couldn't even begin to imagine who had done this and, moving forward, she kneels next to the body and nudges it gently. ]

S-Sir? Please...?

[ But, obviously, he doesn't respond. As pale as a ghost, Nodoka looks around, wondering if she should go and find help or not. If she leaves the body, whoever did it could come back and move it, right? But if she didn't it might be a while until someone realised... ]

[Vash is just wandering around when he notices Nodoka bending over someone else. He pauses for a second. Was that guy okay? Should he go over and help. Before the thoughts even run through his head he's walking over to Nodoka, finally noticing Alice?'s body.]

Ah, is everything okay over here?

[That guy...it doesn't look like he's moving. At all. A horrified look appears on Vash's face, but he still stands there, even though he's shaking to his boots.]

[ Nodoka jumps and turns to face the man. Her eyes are full of tears, but she wipes them away and attempts to not look like a mess of a girl. ]

I-I just found him! I don't know what happened, I... I don't know!

[Vash looks at the girl, than to Alice?, then back at the girl. He's really trembling now. Surely, that guy couldn't be d-d-d...]

Dead?!

[The gunman's mouth just opens and closes, and he tries not to let himself run away from the scene like an idiot.]

Ah,er, did you see anyone else? Was there someone else here?

[He kneels down to check for a pulse. Upon finding none, he freezes for a moment before slowly backing away, staring at the body in horror.]

What the hell happened here?

[ He's too in shock, horrified, and enraged to be angry at you, Billy. So count yourself fortunate. Either way, he's staring wide-eyed. ]

[He's a little too busy being in shock to be grateful, sadly.]
