[The tall man jerks awake, already sensing something off.]

Daine.

[Getting to his feet a little stiffly.]

This...where are we?

[badgerlet]

[she takes only the briefest of moments to blush before following him and getting to her feet. she winces; she's sore all over, like she's had rocks pounded over her, and she realises then that she's dripping wet as well, shirt clinging to her. Daine takes no notice]

I can hear People-- [still rubbing her ears] So we're not in the Divine Realms, but I don't think we're in the mortal realms, either.

[she looks up]

...Graveyard Hag. What in Shakith's name--?

[He follows her gaze up, ignoring his own wet state and he pales.]

...Hag's bones....that's the ocean...we're under the ocean. That barrier's drenched in magic. The whole place seems to have traces.

...If we're in the ocean, that probably explains why you can hear voices.

But there are four-legged People as well.

[she rounds on him]

Numair, what happened after-- after the spidrens? Where did we go??

[ Hm. Newcomers. Assessment of situation, possibly not that injured. Seem perfectly fine. Ah well. ]

If you'll pardon my saying, this isn't quite a place for one to sleep.

[Daine would beg to differ-- she feels bruised all over (and it's likely she is, considering how far she fell).]

We didn't fall asleep here. At least I didn't-- [turns to look at Numair, eyes wide]

Ah. My apologies then.

[ Should've taken a closer look then. ]

Can you walk? Have you just arrived?

[Waking up with a groan, he's not bruised, but he's stiff and exhausted.]

Daine?

[He looks up at this new person.]

Who are you?

[He is walking by when he spies the sleeping two.

And then he leaves.

And returns with two towels in his arms, just as the girl wakes up. A pause; he doesn't wish to interrupt, but he knows the look of new people, he certainly does.]

Excuse me. Would you like a towel?

[Daine wakes up, jumps to her feet (winces) and stares. Why is there a mortal here?]

What-- where are we?

[Ah-- he doesn't miss that stare. Or that wince. Noting it, but saying nothing for now, he just holds the towels and responds patiently.]

This is Vatheon. Wherever you were before, you aren't there any longer; this world brought you here instead.

This world brought us here? That's fair impossible, only one of the Great Gods could have sent us from the Divine Realms.
