He glanced around wearily - Hiten had never seen anything quite like this.  He was surrounded by rides and kiosks of candy and drinks.  There were games and all types of things.  He didn't like it.  He never liked change.

Blinking at the sudden question, Mion quickly took in the strange man's clothing. It definitely wasn't what she was used to seeing, but she decided not to comment on it for the time being.

"I guess a carnival decided to spring up all of a sudden."

"Carnival?" He eyes her skeptically, there weren't necessarily carnivals in Feudal Japan. "What's behind all this..waste of time?"

"It's basically a place where people can play games and have fun with their friends."

She frowned slightly at the 'waste of time' comment, but didn't say anything about it. "I'm not really sure what's behind it. Like I said, it just appeared without warning."

"So...then it's not dangerous?" He continues to eye her cautiously, then a sly grin appears across his face. "And just might what your name be?"

"Huh?" She blinks, she's just as confused as you are about this sudden festive change, "Oh... I don't know. I never seen anything like this before so I can't say I know." She frowns a bit, a bit dissapointed she couldn't help you out there.

"People look happy though, so maybe it's something good?"

He smiles, not realizing he had tapped on the shoulder to what was seeming to be a familiar face. His pout twisted to a smile - one laced with malice.

"So perhaps you'd like to take a walk around with me?" Have a wink, too.

"Sure I don't mind..." She starts off and huffs at the end. God Hiten, you need to learn how to compose yourself around women. "Maybe if we're lucky you can pick up manners also."

She sighed, knowing he'd think up of something smart to say and ignore her what she said completely.

"Alright, lead the way then."
