[Action] ...Mrs Brisby you're so cute. ;A;toomanypetalsMarch 8 2011, 19:24:46 UTC
[Mrs. Brisby might notice that this rather tall, dark-looking fellow has been watching her go about her business for at least a few minutes now. And if she hasn't, well, then she will now, because while it's in Kanda's nature to be harsh with humans, the same cannot be said for small animals and plants. Especially when they seem intelligent-- as far as mice go, anyway.]
[So, after a few minutes of watching, yon slightly scary grumpface actually willingly speaks up.]
...Che. That doesn't look like a very safe home, mouse.
[Diogenes is new here, too, and is also currently homeless. He tilts his head when he sees Mrs. Brisby. How odd to see a mouse in a cape. He leans down to inspect more closely.]
(That mouse had clothes. The old doctor was positive that the mouse that had run by was wearing clothing. As if it was intelligent. Mordin had never played with animal intelligence, but the idea intrigued him. She seemed to be collecting something, thread, buttons, mostly trash but diffidently an order to the mouses actions that should not have been there. Finally he moves in closer to the mouse to get a good look.)
Field Mouse. Native? Not Likely. Limited wildlife. Brought here. Intelligence obvious. Already superior to standard rodent. Upper limit. Unsure. Speech Likely. None Recorded Taken incapable. All possess human intellect. Suggests same for mouse. (inhales) Fascinating. (Kneels down) Mordin Solus. Doctor. Curious. What Purpose of collection?
[What an odd way of talking - perhaps the poor dear had a speech impediment?
What she sees, however, is not a human, which she was slowly getting more comfortable with, but a frightening creature. She froze, staring wide-eyed and in terror at the strange new thing.]
(The doctor lifts his hand towards the mouse almost touching the poor terrified mouse before a gauntlet of orange light engulfs the alien hand. The transparent orange shapes overlap and shift as the mouse is scanned. Words, graphs and readings appear on the back of the Doctors hand telling him everything there is to know about the awestruck Mrs Brisby)
Field mouse. Well aged. Internal damage suggests children. Two to four. heart rate above normal. adjust for species. Still rapid. Petrified. Abnormal energy source. From her? No. pendant. Unfamiliar. Extends over mouse. Suggests Synchronicity. Chemical Content of lungs suggest...
(The Aged Alien goes on and on, reading to the small mouse her entire life based off of the readings of this glowing glove never stopping for air or input. it seems like he could go on for days if uninterrupted)

[Roxas is minding his own business, exploring the marketplace, when something catches his eye. It's a little dash of movement, a flash of red and brown...
He looks, and blinks.]
A... mouse?
[Wearing a cape? His curiousity is getting the best of him, so he's going to watch where she's going and follow her to her little pot. He squats nearby to get a better look.]

A-ah, s-sorry, you startled me...
I haven't found myself a home just yet, I'm afraid...

[He frowns thoughfully.]
Che, you'd think they'd at least come up with something...

[Cue the most sad face in the world. Aerith leans over, tilting her head.] Oh, look at you...

[She jumps a bit, startled, but she doesn't bolt immediately.]
O-oh, pardon me, am I in the way...?
Reply
Oh, not at all... How can you be, being so small? [She laughs lightly.]
