[Mitsuhide is now making sure to seek out newcomers, thanks to both his usual compassion and his role as a member of the welcoming committee. Tidily dressed in a favourite kimono and with a package in his arms, he has been walking around the plaza for a minute or so before spotting Ami.]

[She's clearly a new arrival, and so he approaches with a gentle smile on his face.]

A question with a long answer, I'm afraid.

[He bows his head and pulls our a small brochure from the package.]

Welcome to Vatheon. This will serve well as an introduction, when you are ready to read it, and I have a small amount of supplies here for you as well. I am sorry to say that there is no way of leaving this city except at its own will.

Ah! Who--?

[The sudden voice makes her jump, and Mercury turns, ready to defend herself... until she spies the brochure and package. While her guard lowers a bit, she's still ready to fight if anything pops up.]

[This man seemed awfully prepared. She came to the conclusion that she can't have been the first person to come here.]

You mean-- Does this happen often?

[Mitsuhide nods briefly.]

Yes. I am a captive here as well; there are many of us. My name is Mitsuhide, former samurai of the Akechi clan.

[He tilts his head. She seems healthy, at least. People have arrived injured beforehand.]

A welcoming committee was organised amongst us, so there is always someone around to greet newcomers and provide them with information; it can get very confusing otherwise, to say the least.

[Well, the fact that they're all stuck here is unsatisfying-- but obviously it wasn't as horrible as she thought it would be.]

[ And while Ami hasn't been answered yet, if she notices a good ways away with her back turned and cat (that doesn't look a thing like unfortunately) flopped on her head right in between her odangos, is Usagi, walking around leisurely around the area. ]

Ne, Hikage-chan.. should we walk around the market place next?

[ When she recieves a mewl from the black and white cat, she can only giggle as she starts heading in that direction. ]

That sounds like a great idea. We can even get something for dinner!

[ Hurry, Ami-chan! You might end up missing your biffle! ]

[Now that's a familiar voice. Ami's head whips around to stare in that direction, and it takes her a few seconds to process that familiar hairstyle. But something seems a bit off... besides the fact that it looks like Usagi, and is entirely dry and normal.]

U-Usagi-chan...?

[Her glasses seemed to say it was Usagi... but she looked...older. Yes, older, that's what looked different.]

Because when it rains.. IT POURS.

[ Usagi would like to think that she hasn't gotten that much older. But then again, two years is a pretty long stretch for a teenager, and she has gotten a little taller.. her body has matured but it's always the eyes. Always the eyes that are a dead give away. ]

Let's see.. are we in a seafood mood today? [ Her eyes drift up to the bubble surrounding the city, and she laughs at her stupid joke. ] Maybe not.

[ The cat makes a noise that cats tend to do, but his ears twitch and his little head turns to peer at Ami with a curious look to him. ] Pasta. Pasta sounds good! We can have some lasagna, or maybe some spaghe-- hey!

[ Hop goes the cat from her head as it starts heading towards Mercury with the sole intent of checking her out. ] Hikage-chan! Where are you going?

[ And much like in Usagi fashion.. she's not even looking around. All she's looking at is the problem ahead of her and hasn't even realized Mercury is standing there looking dumbfounded (as she can get for being the senshi of knowledge and wisdom anyway!) ] Come
