Crowley turned to glance at the lawyer, giving him a small wave as he came in. They had a lot to drink about, didn't they? The recent disappearances had them all shook up- Crowley couldn't even be that happy that the catboy was finally gone for good.

"Hey, Piano Man. How've you been?"

For Klavier, it was less the recent disappearances, and more who had shown up. Kristoph had been taking his toll on him, and it wasn't helping him much.

Though he truly did miss Touka.

"... I think it's fair to say we've all had better days, hm?"

He hasn't said it yet, but there's probably little doubt that eventually he's going to mention his brother; Kristoph was truly something he was confused and hurt about. He wasn't really sure just HOW to put it, anyway, or who to even talk to.

"Klavier," Aziraphale greeted with a slow, soft smile. He would never say it aloud but... Things had been a little more than difficult lately. It was hard to find a moment to truly admit to having pain when you had children to watch out for and, though he didn't mind, it was a struggle sometimes. He relished these moments where he could flashback to times when it was just he and Crowley, taking a moment to put the burdens on someone else's shoulders for a night. It wasn't that he hated what he was doing in Vatheon - he just needed a break every now and then.

"I think that is a more than fair assessment. Thank goodness for like-minded folk." The angel smiled, shifting a little uncomfortably in his chair. He was more at ease in Vatheon - perhaps because the connection with the Father was far weaker - but at the same time it made him far tenser. He had long relied on God's link and to have it shaken so thoroughly was a little hard.

"True to that," Crowley said, raising up his glass of wine before taking a good sip of it. Oh, alcohol. How he missed you.

Even though Crowley put on the impression that he didn't care about anything (and really, most of the time, he didn't), he couldn't help but feel just the slightest bit morose at the reason why they were there. What if Aziraphale or Nodoka or Effy up and disappeared one day? No, he shouldn't think about that.

Back to the alcohol.

"So, Klavier, what's your poison today? They've got all the choices you could possibly want here."
