The click of scarlet high heels broke through the ghouls' chattering and moans; it was seconds later that the gunshots rang out, Poison smirking when the pirates before her dropped dead. "Good thing I picked this up earlier," she mused, whip and 'cuffs hanging from her right hip; the gun's holster was strapped to her left thigh.

"Just like the way I came here - an' just like bein' home." A laugh as more fiends approached, and she took stance, gun ready, eyes scouring the place to make sure she didn't hit anyone that was actually alive.

A good thing she was keeping watch, because there was one armor-clad boy still fighting the phantoms. "Geez, this place has gone crazy..." And there's another spell lighting up the night; looks like someone initiated Firestorm.

Raising an eyebrow, she aimed and shot at a pirate coming up behind the boy, picking it off before it could swing its sword down on him. "You the one with the fireworks?" she called, turning to kick another ghost away.

Well, mostly because she's trying to parry a rusty sword with a baseball bat and actually managing to keep herself alive for the time being. ]

[Whew. These guys were persistant. Elsewhere, Terra was already beginning to wear down after being stuck in a constant battle against these new... Well, they couldn't really be called humans anymore. He was at the point where he was using Ends of the Earth as support in the limited breaks he could get, darkness simply rolling from his body. Eraqus would be ashamed if he could see him now, but at this moment it didn't really matter. Taking whatever moments he could, he lets his back bump against a building and shakes his head quickly.

[Yes, yes they are persistent. Ven's fighting through the mob, trying to find a way through to find his friends and make sure they were safe. The fighting's been constant, but if it's one thing Ven's learned with the Unversed, its to either take a hit well or for the love of the Light run! So far, he's done a healthy mixture of the two and fighting them off, only to see more come running.]

C'mon, gimme a break already!

[Before they can even give a reaction to it, he's in the air and unleashing Stratosphere on some unlucky pirates... until knocked off course in mid-swing, flying back into a building. ....Kinda half-stuck in the wall now, right next to you, man.]
