A-ahh! [Holds on to a nearby to steady herself and looks up to see the explosion in the distance]

Wh-what's going on?

[Have Joshua somewhere nearby for whatever reason. And watching the explosion with the expression in his icon: vaguely curious.]

Well, that's quite a mess. I thought it would take longer for things to come to this.

[Looks over to see where this new voice is coming from.]

Do...do you know what caused that just now?

It sounded like an explosion, didn't it? [have a smile/smirk] If that was the case it could be any number of things. Magic, for example.

[lackinglady]

Magic? Then that would mean that someone might have caused that explosion on purpose, right?

[notating]

Is that surprising? Plenty of people are unhappy about being forced to stay here. I'd say it was more a question of when than if.

Though now of course it's simply a question of who.

[lackinglady]

Th-that may be true but...that doesn't mean that they should go to such drastic measures. Someone might have gotten hurt in that explosion!

Yeah...I think that's what we're all wondering right now.

Do you have a better way of freeing us? Inaction can lead to reluctant submission. Surely our perpetrator knows this.

[He brushes his bangs back.] There's a way to narrow down the list- who has the ability to do or make such a thing? If it was made it should be a simple matter of pinpointing where the supplies were taken from, if it was an ability than it's more complicated. [Naoya? Possibly, but this really didn't seem his particular style.]

[Is about to say something to that but then just hangs her head in defeat.] I-I guess I don't. Still...they could have at least given us a little warning before doing something like this.

I don't think anyone I've met here so far is capable of making an explosion. But it's hard to say when you've only known these people for such a short amount of time.

[notating]

If they did one of our number may have ratted them out. [Have some more smirking there.] After all, it always does well to be in good graces with the prison wardens.

Oh, there may be a few... [He regards her idly.] I suppose you're my alibi and I'm yours. How lucky for me I have such a trustworthy looking one. [It's really hard to tell if that's teasing or not.]

Y-you make everyone seems so dishonest when you put it like that.

Oh, uhm...well th-thank you I think but I'm sure there are other people a lot more suspicious than we are that the locals will suspect did this.

Do I? It's safer to assume the worse than it is to assume the best. [have a small laugh] But assuming the best is more fun, right?

Fair enough, but witch hunts have a great way of turning on you when you least expect it. For all we know they may decide we're too innocent looking.

I-I wouldn't say it's fun. If you go around assuming the worst in everyone...who can you trust?

As much as I don't like to admit it...you do have a point. The innocent looking people are usually the ones you would least expect.

Why should you trust? It sounds like pretty messy business overall.

[He makes a hmm sound.] Whoever did this was clever, they'll be clever enough to cover their tracks. That leaves all of us as potential suspects.

W...what do you mean by that?

That might have been their plan from the start...to draw everyone's attention away from the real culprits and leave the rest of us.
