I-I... hey, no, I don't ... I can't take this! I can't pay you back! [But sadly, the person who gave it to him has walked off and Phoenix is left confused with a fistful of cash.]

... but from being forced to now work here as a waiter. It might not look it, but he can't leave this place during his shift. 8| At all. And he's not enjoying this ONE bit because there's a gaggle of local women gambling but also remarking on his ears. His uniform matches other various ones around, but it's also very similar to his original checkered-patterned outfit, and he's even got a gold (but not his) chain and pocket watch now to complete the look. At least he usually wore gloves... so really, it didn't actually look all that out of place at all, except for the lack of numbers all over his suit, though his original tie was still on. He hasn't noticed you yet, Nick. ]

Peter?
[Yes, he had to ask because this was just too weird. Sure, the murderous expression was there, but still... why would he be working here? With people?]

... At least, she was until it was her turn to throw the dice. She threw them too hard and now there's a gaping hole in the table.]
Aack! I broke it!

Did you just...throw a hole in the table?

[Juri apologizes to the dealer, who vehemently assures her that it's fine, and turns to Alice?. She blinks.]
Woah, what happened to you?

I will laugh if someone pushes him in. Just saying.]

So while Peter walks past, tending to some other people or something he does the next best thing he can: pick up an 'accidentally' spilled tray (and, of course, he let that expensive dishwear spill all over Alice? in the process, and he's going to be claiming it completely your fault so you have to pay them back, of course~), and with the slightest touch as he's picking the broken glass and solid sterling silver pan up... use his small, rabbit tail to push Alice? straight into the water.
Good luck on your trip; have a nice fall! ♥ He's going to be leaving before you even get out of that pool. Besides, he's forced into different clothing, ears aside; it'd be a bit harder to recognize his back.]

He's entirely too surprised to even think to look who pushed him in, and he just manages a gasp before he falls backwards into the pool with a large splash!.
After a moment, he swims to the surface, hair plastered to his head and a scowl plastered to his face.
Why yes, he looks a little ridiculous.]

Soooo, curious cats have to inquire as to who runs this place.
[And he asks her, if only because she seems the least confused.]

At least, the building itself. This club is run by a close acquaintance of mine.

Of course, this is probably because he is currently soaking wet, after having been pushed into the pool, and water still drips from his clothes and his hair. He hasn't had any luck at all finding a towel, you see.
Just have an exasperated look, Vash.]
Do you know where I can find a towel?

Hey, what happened to you? Did the dome sprung a leak or something?
[He shrugs at Alice?'s question.]
I don't know. Maybe a waiter has one?
