[So Effy's just arrived, dressed in this lovely attire, but things aren't as normal as they usually are. She's unconscious in the middle of the street.

[ Alucard was strangely awake and roaming the City on this December afternoon. He comes across the strange girl in the middle of the road.

Human girl.

Unconscious.

Wet.

New arrival.

Still.

The vampire prodded the girl with his boot. ]

Get up.

[effier]

[Slowly, Effy managed to get herself to stand and squeezed her eyes shut before opening them again. She couldn't be tripping. There was an actual man in front of her and they were --

Where were they? Where was she?]

Where am I?

[ Alucard's red eyes examined the girl. ]

Vatheon, child. For from your home and no way back from whence you came.

[effier]

[Was he wearing contacts, or something?]

Are you saying I can't get home?

[girlpowertouka]

[And Touka comes across an absolutely adorably-dressed girl...oh. Unconscious. Not good. Touka kneels down beside her.]

Hey, wake up. Are you okay?

[effier]

[Someone's poking at her? What?

Effy opens her eyes, sitting up and looking at the girl in front of her quizzically.]

Fine.

[She looks around. This was not London.]

Where am I?

This place is called Vatheon. It's an underwater city that sort of pulls people in from other dimensions.

[effier]

[What a strange name.]

Dimensions?

[she looked the girl over. She'd never seen her before, and she usually remembered a face.]

We can leave, can't we?

[esthydear]

[Just the thing Esther needed. Some young girl lying in the middle of the plaza unconscious. WORRY WORT CITY]

Oh my goodness! [ Esther rushed over to the girl and keeled at her side. She hesitantly placed her hands on the others shoulders shaking them gently] Are you alright? Please, you must wake up!

[What was that noise? Who was that? It wasn't a voice she recognized. Did someone slip her something?

She sat up slowly, eying the area before her eyes landed on the girl in front of her.]

This isn't London, is it?

[esthydear]

[Esther moved her hand to the girls back for support to help her sit up. She watched as the girl absorbed her surroundings and at her question she smiled sympathetically.]

I'm afraid not. This place is not the world you are accustomed to, it's called Vatheon.

[effier]

[Effy ignored this and stood up on her own.]

Vatheon.

[She was still looking around, wondering if there was a way out.]

[ Adrian seemed to be getting more and more partial to these midnight walks, but they more often than not overran to the next morning and now he found himself wandering the streets of Vatheon in broad daylight. He was, in fact, making his way back home when he happened upon the sleeping body of a young woman. ]

Goodness...

[ He hesitated before approaching her ]

Young woman? Excuse me...?

[effier]

[Once Effy started to acknowledge his voice, she awoke and stood up to look at where the voice had come from.]

Who are you?

[bequeathal]

[ He took a small step backwards to give the girl some air, his expression soft and his voice gentle ]

My name is Adrian [ He'd given up on introducing himself as Alucard these days ] Are you alright? You weren't hurt by being brought here, were you?

[effier]

[She shook her head, frowning, as if her getting hurt was impossible.]

No, I wasn't.

[pause.]

I need to go home.

[spanking_angels]

[ Bayonetta was just walking around this fine afternoon when she stumbled upon the unconscious girl. The Witch blinked, rolling the purple butterfly lollipop around in her mouth.

My, my.

She nudged the girl with her pistol heeled foot. ]

[After a few moments, Effy awoke and looked up at the woman who was responsible for the prodding. She stood up, obviously confused.]

This isn't London.

Clearly not.

[ Bayonetta examined the girl with her pale eyes. My, my. She was quite wet. Here, let Bayo help you out. A snap of her fingers and a Witch's Seal appeared above Effy's head, a nice warm towel flopping onto her head. You're welcome. ]

This is Vatheon, dear.

[effier]

[What? This wasn't -- Sigh. Best ask about it later. Hesitantly, she used the towel to dry her hair best she could.]

Vatheon? Why am I here?
