[ Hm? Someone in a place he'd tainted with his power? Interesting. He makes his way through the trees, moving stealthily and seeking out his own energy signature among the foliage.

His hunch was right.

Someone was snooping. This was unacceptable. After all, the events of that night had been concealed in those that were present. A new person poking around may have to be silenced. The doctor comes close enough to observe Shoutarou but far enough that he wasn't so easily detected. ]

[ He anticipates the movement, sidestepping the kick and shoving Shoutarou forward. In turn, the circle follows the detective and weaves binding tendrils of crackling dark energy around his arms, forcing him to the ground. ]

[ The circle glows faintly beneath them and both disappear in a flash of light. When Philip and the others get to the spot, all they'd find would be Shoutarou's broken Drive and a few feathers. ]
