[He doesn't say anything for a while, just stares at his friend before giving a small sigh and sitting down and ordering a glass of wine of his own. He doesn't know entirely what to say. He doesn't want to sound incredibly dismissive of the whole thing. He stares down at the table, unsure feelings flitting through his mind.]
...Hey.

He simply took it upon himself as Sanae's friend to help the man's 'family' out in their grief. Maybe then he would finally give in to his own, though now was not the time. Not in Joshua's opinion.
The Composer refused to think about the what if there was a third time, the possibility that the next one would be the same case Joshua was. He felt that would simply devestate the little family.
For now, he was just going to sit there silently, letting Aziraphale take the lead.]

Too much had happened, too much damage and pain and suffering for it all just to be ignored.
After a long, tense moment, he sighed and reached out, lifting the glass into his hand. He could at least pretend to drink it. ]
... How are you, my dear?

Could be better.
[Joshua tilted his head, a subtle gesture.]

Well, she does so enjoy exploring now that she's... free to do so. By some manner of luck or coincidence, she manages to pass by this cafe in particular. However that sad sigh of Aziraphale's manages to reach her ears and... she so hates seeing someone suffer.
Not realizing that it may be a bit of an inappropriate time, she approaches him and clasps her hands together. Oh, how she worries for this stranger.]
Is everything alright, sir? You seem so... upset...

I'm quite alright, my dear, thank you.

I do not mean to doubt you, sir, but one who is typically 'alright' does not emit such sighs as you have.

Ah... No, I am fine. A friend of mine has left, that's all.

he couldn't avoid to watch a little, then realized that lonely and pained look within the other's eyes. that made him frown a little, it's always sad to see such things. but after a while, Red realized that staring was rude - so he decided to walk over, then placed his hands on one free seat.]
Hello... Um... Is this chair taken?
[but when he got closer, Red realized that this is that person he had talked to once before. he smiled a little at the familiarity, it had been a long while.] Oh, it's you.
