To tell the truth, he was worried. Yes, he was a vampire, and yes, he should be feeling excited about all of this feasting, but he couldn't help but think that maybe there was another way.
Another way? The very words sounded stupid. No, he was afriad. Afraid of letting go of his true self. His medicine was almost out, and if he wasn't careful, who knew what would come to those who tested him?
He had made a promise, and he intended to keep it, even if his bretheren had no plans on holding back on their blood lust. So, this was almost a test for him. If he could watch their hunt and manage to keep hold on his other side, then he would be alright.
"Good evening, Tesla," Alucard said, appearing behind the scientist with Adrian. The No Life King inclined his head in respect for other. His trademark grin never wavered, not one bit.
"Good evening, Alucard." He turned around, giving a nod to the vampire in front of him. This must be so exciting for him- going out to feast on others, taking in the iron smell of blood...
No, he had to focus. He couldn't let his mind wander.
"And 'tis a fine All Hallow's Eve, my friend. A pity you won't be indulging with us," Alucard replied. The old vampire stepped back to reveal Adrian, motioning with his hand for the youth to come closer to him.
SO EXCITE~~eatingwingsOctober 31 2010, 17:36:59 UTC
[ Such a beautiful night, this All Hallow's Eve.
Alucard walked behind Adrian, the old No Life watching his precious child take the lead. A night where Adrian would be taught by his great Father to hunt for exquisite meals. He will hone his child's preferences, make him understand the benefits and pleasures of the hunt. How this was in no conflict with the wishes of his beloved, diseased mother.
Alucard's presence radiated authority. He was regal, a King with his princely son. The old vampire grinned at the youth in front of him. He walked closer to Adrain, looking down at the youth. ]
[ Adrian had been looking forward to this evening for the past few days, as the guilt had faded all he could think of was the hunt. But as hungry as he was he really had no idea how to conduct this feeding ritual.
He turned to Alucard with a smile, a hint of playful wickedness to his features (but it was only a hint, Adrian could never be truly cruel, could he?) ]
I must be honest with you, Father, I am a little... unsure how to begin this... Perhaps we should head somewhere that is well-populated? Will mortals be happy for me to feed on them?
Mmmhmhmm. My child, we lure mortals to us. They come to us.
[ The vampire stepped toward a crowd. A young woman, preferably a virgin was ideal, but a young virgin man could also work. Alucard was not the type to be picky about aesthetics, but he had standards. The prettier the victim, the more fun the vampire would have. Alucard was a creature who needed not only his appetite for blood and souls filled, but the vampire enjoyed the hunt more if his sexual appetite was also filled. He could accommodate for either sex, but the vampire preferred beautiful young women... And from the looks of it, Vatheon was not short on this... Alucard already had his sights on a few... ]
[ Adrian nodded a few times, a look of anticipation on his soft, delicate features. He really had no idea what to expect. Dracula had never taught him how to hunt as a child and... well, something had happened to stop Adrian and Dracula from ever speaking after his thirteenth birthday, but strangely enough Adrian couldn't recall what it was. Either way, he had never witnessed a true hunt so he felt a small surge of excitement to see his Father at work. ]
I shall.
[ he replied eagerly, trying not to raise his voice too much. Perhaps some humans were skittish and he did not wish to scare them away with loud, raised tones ]
Have a blood donor...XDshard_finderOctober 31 2010, 20:57:32 UTC
She was wandering around trying to figure out exactly what this place was. As she wandered closer to the forest, she almost smiled. It reminded her of the Feudal Era which made her feel closer to home. She sighed as she glanced back at the city and she wished that she could remember. That girl..Esther seemed so upset that she couldn't remember her.
I thought you would enjoy her...bloodshard_finderOctober 31 2010, 21:10:23 UTC
She walked along for a few minutes and as she turned, she happened to see the animal. At first she almost screamed and ran but something about it, caused her to take another glance. It was definitely not like any other animal she's seen before. She sat on her haunches and she held out her hand.

The doctor was never one for roaming the dark of night in the forest. Who could blame him. He preferred his kills out in the open, in places where the most unlikely could chance upon a handsome man alone and never see the day after. He'd been waiting for this day, the one evening where the power he had garnered over the years ebbed like the very sea itself. It was a rush, a rush so powerful it caused him to shudder. His choice of fare had nothing to do with the same insatiable thirst as his companions. He'd rather feed on the energy, the very essence itself. This one night was when they tasted the sweetest.
First, the seduction, to get their emotions running white hot. Then the kill... and to feed from that. They tasted best when tainted with fear, the sudden realization that this was the last chance they had.
He pushed his glasses up slightly, feeling for a scalpel he'd pocketed earlier. The feel of the cold metal assured him. "You'll soon drip precious rubies." he laughed softly.
Fashionably late!punchhoppingOctober 31 2010, 23:45:00 UTC
Kageyama stuck close to Muraki-san, never further than a few shadows away. He was starting to get a faint idea of what Muraki-san might have planned for this night. It warred a little in his head, that realization --it was better to protect others, right-- but if this was what Muraki-san desired, then he would gladly carry it out.
He had already called his zecter to him, holding it loosely in his fist. Tonight, he would make sure no one interrupted Muraki-san's plans. Tonight, he would make sure Muraki-san was pleased with his performance. Somehow, through all the haze and forgotten memories, that seemed the most important thing right now.
Then it is acceptable! Anyone's free to pop in here, by the by~xblood_lustingNovember 1 2010, 00:32:42 UTC
Ah. He had company. His precious pet had come, just as he'd expected. Well, certainly, perhaps the dear boy would experience for himself firsthand what the doctor's bread and butter was

At the scalpel's flash, Kageyama's eyes widened for a moment, but rather than act, rather than stop the coming murder, he just let his eyes flick away, allowing Muraki to do as he pleased. He didn't understand why Muraki had to do this, but it was probably not his place to. And why should he question Muraki's actions? All that he wanted was for Muraki to be happy. And if this made him happy? So be it.
Sounds good to me~oh_neku_dearNovember 1 2010, 02:18:48 UTC
[At least Neku's calm. Josh can't help thinking that there's something off about tonight. He's not sure how to describe this sense of foreboding, but it's telling him to find shelter fast. He glances at his companion.]
Well, the place I woke up in seems to have been only occupied by me. Shouldn't be too far from here, actually.
[ Well, well, well. What do we have here~? Alucard grins, Adrian standing behind him. His red eyes sear and burn with excitement, his lips already slightly red from the few meals before. He says: ]
"As I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." Joshua 1:5
And bringing up the rear~xblood_lustingNovember 1 2010, 02:29:16 UTC
[ So he wasn't alone. As expected, his companions had already taken a little something before this encounter but well, there would be room for one more. After all, he himself had a little snack and had the stains to show for it. Not so incandescently white now. ]
I'd expected nothing less from you to spot such promising prey.
