A week without the internet! Tragic stuff.

Working at Lush again was brilliant, but so tiring. I've lost my touch with the customers, I really have. I spent most of my shifts either stuck behind the till in a flurry of grease-proof paper and sticky labels, or bent double over the gift wrap table. It's really odd how fast that first term goes when you consider at the beginning December feels so far away. I know how you feel about missing it though, you just want to get back into the swing of it.

My mother lives here, my Dad lives in Islington... I'm a bit all over the shop :P love Walthamstow though, it's lovely! x

it wasn't just you, everywhere had emtpy shelves, we did, regent street carnaby etc.. I called despatch and they said all gifts are being made to order and were coming direct from the fctoryt as despatch had empty shelves as well.

Ah, we'd been told over-stocking was going on... either way, it really wasn't so bad this year as we were getting fairly decent gifts, just not what we'd actually ordered.

nope! Everywhere was trying to overstock cAUSAE we knew what would happen, and no where had stock, mail order were delayed by 4 days if you could even get through. We got replacement gifts as well.
