I love Shaun of the Dead too! It's such a funny movie.

Although I'm totally a vamp girl (almost everything I read at least has a little bit of vampires), I am intrigued by the growing number of zombie books. It'll be fun to see all the different takes on zombies in the future.

Of course vampires win over zombies- any day every day, zombies are mindless and can't think. Brains win over brawn and vampires have both brains and power!

I'm excited to see you featuring ya works. When I was a teen, I had a slim to none chance of finding the type of books I wanted to read.

For the zombies vs. vamps question, I think there is room for both. I prefer to read about vamps and to watch zombie flicks. I think vamps work better when I get the chance to create my own images. Cinematic vamps never live up to the way the characters look in my head.

I prefer vampires over zombies. vampires are mysterious,handsome,dangerous...zombies are just smelly, skin falling off, grossness.

I'm a vamp lover all the way but my middle son is a zombie freak who loves to write computer games full of them :D

BTW Varkat it's nice to see you plugging YA books - I love tha fact that the young adults of today have so much more choice of reading material than I had in my day (hates to admit to being so old).
