Oh, primeval darkness, shadows, and a light wavering out there... I certainly enjoyed Sarah's Halloween tale, even though it does send some shivers down my back, too. Which is fitting, because the Magical British Empire also mixes a bit of light and some dark. I agree -- everyone should read them!

I often wonder why people don't realize that the Irish Celts are really Iberian. The Milesians(sp?) were the basis for much of early Irish culture and they were believed to be Portuguese. It's no wonder that All Saints Night has much in common with Samhain. And there is the factor that people see Celtic or Saxon or whatever and never realize that the earlier beliefs of the region influence the culture of the later arrivals. Thank you for reminding me of these things.
