this is why i do not make promises

I am glad in my last journal entry I refused to promise to be on here more often because, well, I broke that promise about two weeks ago. Most of my breaking of promises was due to family coming over for half a week, and then the other half immersed in gaming and reading. I haven't been on the internet much other than yesterday where I spent almost ( Read more... )

:((( your aunt sounds awful. I'm sorry to hear about all that. I wish I could give some advice or something, but I would honestly just avoid contact with her lol. She's only, like 1/8th related to you, I think, genetics-wise. Ahaha.

Ooooh, speaking of amazing soundtracks, Fire Emblem: Awakening has STUNNING music. Like, I would get completely distracted while playing because the music is so amazing. LOL.

AND WOW, you're going to Italy?! Visit Venice before it sinks! And then Milan for the fashion :D

She is not bad most of the time but after awhile it becomes one thing after another. I enjoyed her company a good 90% of the time, it was just that other 10% that got to me, and it was not even really meant to be directed at me personally. I am loyal to a fault so those that I am extremely close to end up having a bear for a bodyguard.

I will be sure to have a listen on youtube! I usually do not get too distracted by my soundtrack music, but my favorite songs can have me zone out for a few minutes.

I am indeed! I am going in January so it is still a bit of a ways away, but I am both nervous and excited. We are going to visit Venice so I will get to see it before it sinks, hahah! We are making a pit stop at Milan for that very reason, since we have fashion majors joining us.

Woo! Happy Birthday to Grandpa. Hoping for many, many more.

You're aunt sounds like a peach. Like the comment above, I don't really have much advice on this subject. She's been doing these kinds of things awhile? If so, I doubt any kind of taking (smack down) is gonna help. I guess the good thing is is that she doesn't come around often, right?

I'm a fan of Stephen King. Not big, but a fan. Probably one of my favorite books by him is Dreamcatcher, but I like other novels by him. He's so wonderfully wacky, like Tim Burton.

Going to Italy!? I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip.

Yes indeed.

I hate that I seem to have made her like a huge bad-guy. She is not really that bad but it just aggravates me at times that she seems to think I won't mind her over stepping her boundaries. She's family and I love her, but at times her personality can be bracing in how oblivious and cruel she can be in her words.

I liked his Cycle of the Werewolf but that was more of a comic than anything. I might read a book of his; I just tend to avoid the horror genre if I can - it just makes me grossed out often. I know he writes more than horror but that is usually his genre so it often is a turn off for me.

Yes I am! Thank-you. c:
