It's that time of the year again. And since I tried it last year I want to do it again this year. But this time in English. :)
1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Just like last time - a lot. It... well... just...
*Stopped a psychopath from doing to much damage to me and my friends
*Attended a weekend long workshop on how to do interviews and such
*Was campaign manager for a political party that got into the European parliament
*Was employed as a political assistant for a member of the European parliament
*Watched Edguy live
*Watched Dragonforce live
*Watched Jeff Dunham live
*Was interviewed by Russian television
*Got an EKG
*Had a discussion about filesharing with Magnus Betnér
*Stood up to someone who used to scare me
*Celebrated Christmas with both my girlfriend and my family and was not afraid of a disaster
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Nope - didn't give any. I don't normally give new year's resolutions, but for next year I'd like to learn that I won't get yelled at and insulted for forgetting small things, like using salt when I cook..
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Depends on how you define close. But up to two people depending on your definition.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes.
5. What countries did you visit?
Gotland. ;)
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
The same as last year. Money and a finished degree. Or a good job. :)
7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 4:th - Watched Edguy live! What a show! The best live show I've ever seen. :D
June 7:th - the day we got into the European parliament.
December 19:th - Watched Eddie Izzard live!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
My continuous personal growth during the year. And being one of the people responsible for getting us into the European parliament.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being finished with my masters thesis.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes. Some sickness off and on, but in June I got a fracture in my left foot.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My new cellphone.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My girlfriends. Just like last year she's been truly wonderful. I've been blessed to have her.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
About the same as last year. A couple of politicians and a person or two that I know. But no names.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Like last year - bills.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
We saw Edguy live!!! What a wonderful band and... the show... the best show I've ever seen!
And we got into parliament!
16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
Edguy - Lavatory Love machine or maybe Edguy - Ministry of Saints
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) Happier or sadder? Happier. So much happier.
b) Thinner or fatter? About the same.

I spent Christmas with my girlfriend and my parents.

I got an external hard drive, memory for my cellphone and closure on some personal issues.

Same as last year - music and my wonderful girlfriend.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
The issue about the telecom package and net neutrality. Lobbyists tried to circumvent due process with the telecom package and to be able to shut people who are suspected of filesharing from the internet without a trial first.

37. Who was the best new person you met?
Dunno to tell the truth - Marie? Maybe Victoria...
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009.
Thanks to a friend I finally understood many things about my ex - something that gave me closure.
