stacebass was plagued with motorcycle drag racers behind her house until they got deported last week. This morning, walking in to work from the repair shop, I was passed by garbage trucks drag racing.

How do garbage trucks get fast enough to drag race?

Well, I was walking.

They were yelling at each other at the stop light about racing to where they turn left to go down to the pyrolysis plant. The one on the right pulled ahead and cut in just ahead of the turn. I could seriously picture him cutting in too soon, getting plowed over, and burying the security kiosk at our site entrance in 20 tons of garbage.
