"Most my friends talk about having good time so you often hear me whisper complaints about hedonism because, frankly, I do not believe everything is fun-n-games."

What if one's hedonism is only pleasure for pleasure's sake and not at the expense of others? Like you enjoying learning, for example. Is that not a form of hedonism?

Hmm... I believe, given how your thought sounds, that I define hedonism differently. My definition of hedonism includes pleasure. I prefer and pursue contentment over pleasure.

I have a hedonistic friend who makes a similar argument, and I noticed that his defense of hedonism depends on a system where no one can possibly by altruistic. I have not found any evidence or proof that anything can be perfectly isolated. Therefore, no system exists where one can do something not at the expense of someone. What I mean is, I live a interconnected, cyclic give-and-take system.

So my enjoyment in learning gives me knowledge and takes it from teachers.

Shew! Can you tell it's late?! :)

I dunno about taking knowledge from your teachers in quite that way. You may be taking their time, but it's not like they're left with less information in their heads when you're done.
