I'm at work. Yuppielawyer sent me the link to this on Twitter and I managed to find a corner at work to read this and cry. This was so well done and it completely broke my heart. The only solace is knowing that it all works out. The same angst I feel when
listening to wipe it away is what I get from reading this, well done. I really really need my happy ending.

Thanks also for satisfying my curiosity on this particular story, I've always wondered what the circumstances were that surrounded their breakup. And while we'll probably never actually know, this bit of fction has helped to fill that void.

I'm clearly far too invested in this, but I seriously can not wait for Be My Lady.

Thank you! This song WRECKS me whenever I listen to it so I had to GO THERE with the fic. The latter half of the song upsets me so much. Silly boy. He's trying to make up for being a stupid kid when he was 18 and broke-up with her. The only problem being that he's still a stupid kid. It takes seeing some atrocities on a daily basis to smack some sense about priorities into his head.
