I'm thinking that maybe hail from winter storms is a little different from hail in summer storms. We do definitely get hail which is like balls and can get quite big.

We didn't get anything up here, just a tiny sprinkle. Lindfield and Roseville seemed to have a lot.

I like it when there's hail...well as long as I'm inside, it's fun to watch it hitting the ground and bouncing around. And the sound of it falling is like listening to heavy rain, which is relaxing in it's own way.
