Been watchin' Moral Orel.
Was informed that season 1 is pretty average fare, season 2 starts getting depressing/heavy, and season 3 is soul-crushing.
WELL, I'm only a little way through season 2, but my soul is already kind of hurting.

Srsly??? Like legitimately depressing? What the heeelll. I've only seen eps that were funny/fucked... never seen one that was ACTUALLY depressing.

The first season is just pretty much straight up funny, and some of the 2nd season is pretty hilarious, but starting with... I'd say the last episode of Season 1 (the Christmas episode) shit starts to get weird and depressing.
It's still a comedy show so for the most part it's funny, but goddamn if some of it isn't the most soul-crushing, realistically depressing thing I've seen in an animated show in basically ever.

I know it's been forever since youu left this comment but
HERE is a super good example of how horrifically depressing this show gets in season 3. Aaand that's just the first episode of season 3. Also the Mountain Goats are an amazing band and they make the scene so much more awesome/soul crushing with their glorious music.
