I tend to skip these poems. I'm sure that the author spent a lot of time picking the perfect one, but I've never really liked poems and always find it very difficult to understand them. When I want to read a story, I'm just not in the mood to read a peom first and spend time making sense of it.

I cant answer this poll- but here is my comment.

I think the poem needs to be part of the story, perhaps interleaving.

It also depends on the type of story or challenge.

So you mean within the text of the story? Most of the time that bothers me even more than at the top.

yes as part of the story. For example, HG or SS or the character of choice reads the poem. In other words, it's integrated. :)

But I am not apposed to the poem being at the beginning or the end if the peom is the inspiration.
