Really? It was sunny and extremely hot (probably the hottest day so far) here!! x___X
Actually Tanabata is one of the festivals that just pass without me noticing it.
Well, this year we actually had a really tiny Tanabata activity at our school, but I've never seen colorful Tanabata bamboo "trees" :( :(

I knew the story already, though. Can't exactly remember where I heard about it originally, though :)

We get a special Tanabata school lunch so I always remember the day. And the trees along the street too. But this is the first year I've bothered to find out the origins.

They have cakes and desserts with star shapes made especially for the day. If he likes Japanese snacks he should try some!
