Mozart's Requiem is a really neat piece. I played it a few years ago (as part of the orchestra, obviously). I remember having a total blast.

I'm actually starting rehearsals tonight for Mahler's Second Symphony. I won't hear the choir tonight, but that's another great piece for everyone involved.

I teach at a couple of different schools, and like you, it amazes me that there's always one that just doesn't seem to understand the rules. Glad you're keeping the good kind of busy. It's more fun than the other. :)

The Requiem is fun but I look forward to getting back to the States and singing some more major works. I don't think I've heard Mahler's Second Symphony. I will have to check it out.

I'm glad you're very busy :). I'm working full-time since last month, but it's nothing compared to what you do~ I'm just an assistant in an office. Still, money is money and experience is being gained in the meantime, until I move onto different pastures :)

School actually hasn't been too busy recently. Or I guess it has but not for me. Now the students are doing so much other stuff that English time with the ALT gets put on the back burner. I spend the extra time studying so it's a win/win for me!

I'm sorry for the irksome school. I think you deserves better. Are their students so tiresome too?

I'm traveling to US (more specifically to NYC) next Monday for seven days. It's my first time there and I'm looking forward to it - and I also fear the long flight. But I can always calm myself that it's nothing comparing the flight from US to Japan :)

They're ok. The two girls for the speech contest are going to be brilliant though. I'm really proud of them.

Have fun in America! I love NYC although I haven't been in years. I had a trip planned and then I found out I was coming to Japan and had to cancel it (or postpone it really since my friend and I still want to do it at some point.) What will you see when you're there?

Thank you!
I can hardly tell what I will see. I'm just peeking in a guide, feeling slightly overwhelmed. So many interesting places!
What would you recommend me?

It's been over yen years since I've been there, but I would say the Empire State building, maybe see a show on Broadway, and the Statue of Liberty. I want to go back and see the big art museum and watch them do the Today Show and visit Chinatown but I can't actually recommend those things since I haven't done them. Have fun!!!
