Last year due to some unfortunate scheduling I happened to be at one of my elementary schools for their graduation rehearsal and later at one of my junior highs for the actual ceremony. Though I can't read it, it's just so pretty with all the colors and symbols.

I love the random English word thrown in. Happy! I hope that means they were happy in my classes and not that they are happy to be done with them. ;-)

aww, that's cute. Will all the students in this class stay together next year as well? Or will they be split up randomly into 2 classes (with the students in the other class)? Hope they get to be in your class next year! :D

They are big enough now that they have two sixth grade classes at this school. In junior high though they will be split between four classes and mixed in with students from the other elementary schools in the area.

Thanks! They are good kids. I'm glad I'll still have them next year.

That's really sweet! I always try to avoid those ceremony-type things--in fact, one of my old professors once snidely commented on me taking the money and hiding when I avoided a scholarship luncheon--but it's cool to be recognized by students.

I was a little worried about this one but I had this cute girl named Miki who sat next to me and did her best to explain what was going on. During the quiz game she even tried to explain the questions and answers using easy Japanese and hand gestures. It was adorable. But you're right, usuallly they suck even in English!
