LMAO, sorry darl but that is just too funny. I am taking the allergy shots but over here in the US (yes I finally made it to Texas!) I seem to be allergic to just about everything. So I went and got some allergy meds, they are working like a charm.

Love Sonia :)

I bet your pharmacy trip was easier than mine. At least in Texas there is English and you can get the medicine right off the shelf yourself.

Hope you're having a wonderful trip!

Thanks. I don't feel brave, just stupid mostly.

I have thought about writing about my travels. One of these days I might get around to it.

LOL! It's tough enough being sick when you're at home, surrounded by people who speak your language. Can't imagine how tough it must be when you're in a different country! Glad you're feeling better.

It takes so much more effort for what should be a simple thing. I've been asking around the last two days how to say allergy medicine and my nose and eyes itch. The very nice lady at the drug store asked me some more questions which I think boiled down to did my skin itch as well and then offered me a choice of three medicines. I went with the one that had pictures of the symptoms I had on it.

It's an embarrassing story really...I was trying to be very quiet and discreet at the pharmacy (where everything is behind the counter and you have to ask for it) but the lady wasn't being very helpful. First I told her that in English we say yeast infection and she told me she had no idea what that meant, so no direct translation. Then I scratched my arm and told her it was like that but "between the legs". Then very loudly, she said "Your genetalia? Your genetalia is itchy?" The four people in line behind me had no doubt what my issue was after that conversation.
