Very funny.I took a Japanese class a long time ago.I think I remember eight words and three are numbers. It is very difficult. You are so great for going for it.Thank you for your updates.A little laughter goes a long way.

*giggles*

I can't even imagine trying to have a conversation in Japanese. The very thought hurts my head and I know I'd fail miserably.

I have a daily podcast that I listen to which helps with the vocab and grammar. And not being able to understand anything...and I mean anything is a great motivator. :-) I'm sure you'd pick it up too if you had to.

So you know the word "delicious" in Japan already? That's a quick start!

If you ever come to Japan the most useful words are oishi (delicious), samui (cold), and honto (really?) People are very interested in knowing if I think Japanese food is good or not, so oishi was an early word. :-)
