BY THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY OR PROFANE STOP PUTTING SIA'S "BREATHE ME" IN YOUR MIXES. FOR SRS. IT IS THE MOST OVERUSED SONG THAT WASN'T RECORDED BY THREE DAYS GRACE. HALF THE TIME IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RELEVANCE TO YOUR MIX.

One of the things I dislike is the reusing of overrated and overused songs in fanmixes. I've been guilty of that in the past but, I try to at least search for unknown and lesser used songs so it doesn't have this repetitive feel like every other fanmix does sometimes. That, and making sure the songs match the theme I'm going for in said mix (which is why it's kind of hard for me to finish one mix, haha).

Oh, word to the repetitive feel. Sometimes I feel like 90% of the fanmixes out there, you could just sort of - stew together, and they would turn out sounding exactly the same. The unique ones are quite rare, and often, quite good.

AGH I KNOW. That, and Coldplay's 'The Scientist'. There's one mix in which that song could work perfectly for me but I refuse to add it because it's so over-used O_O

And IA re: the Twilight mixes. Most of them aren't very good anyway :S

Interestingly enough, I haven't actually seen that one much lately, though I certainly did before - perhaps it's going out of style? Finally?

Yeah. Though the instrumental ones are nice. And the art on the Twilight mixes - no matter how bad the mixes themselves are - is usually really good, which rather puzzles me.
