I was not that interested at first. Heroes was going to shit and SciFi was banging a lot of drums about their new miniseries, so I was like, okay, I'll check it out.

Tin Man has got to be the best thing since peanut butter. I mean, Alan Cumming! Snark! Mysticism! Flying tit monkeys! And even though Zooey ( Read more... )

Wow. . . This was sweet and deep. It really captured the emotions that Cain might've been feeling throughout the series. And that bit with him and DG was very well written. Lots of thought put into it. I liked the lingering memories and thought of Adora too.

Lovely story. <3

FANTASTIC.

You're just vague enough to be poetic, just clear enough not to lose us. The second person POV works very well here. The scenes are just long enough to get the point across, no longer, and it is wonderful. I absolutely love it. *applauds*

Oh, that's good. I seem incapable of writing any long scene of substance, so I'm glad someone liked it. :)

I think I like this, but it confused me initially, with the POVs.

There's actually only one POV, though it doesn't seem that way. The point when I wrote it was that the narrator could be either Glitch or Cain (or both, if you so prefer - sort of a shared story); thus, it ended up vague and confusing. But I'm glad (you think) you liked.

This is masterfully written. It reads almost more like a tone poem than a fic. Beautiful work.

I usually see Cain as a lot more decisive.

Never this muddy, never this human.

He's usually painted a lot simpler. A man of action, decision, movement.
In this he is these things but he also seems more touchable vulnerable. A person more complicated than I had viewed him to be.

Thank you for a new interpretation of Cain. He seems a lot more real to me now.

He's usually painted a lot simpler. A man of action, decision, movement. The way I saw it was yes, he has this front of decision, but inside he's not much different than anyone else. He just sort of shows his insecurities and doubts... by not being insecure or doubting?

Anyway, thanks to you for reading!
