on watching house 5.5 lucky thirteen, otherwise known as OMG THE (HALF-)LESBIAN EPISODE

Holy shit, it's the Kills. And, wow, I love that they used that song, even if it doesn't mesh with Thirteen. (Or, at least, I don't think so.)

And right, girlsecks. Say, who was the person that predicted Thirteen's bisexuality would not, in fact, end in a relationship but rather be an excuse for more cheap lesbian porn? Maybe themollyedge? If so, I think we ( Read more... )

Give themollyedge a (rueful) pat on the back and the writers a good smack on the head, then send the latter back to Responsible Storytelling 101.

Maybe just give the boot to the studio execs, or whomever. Because I'm pretty sure ratings had something to do with it.

On a non-related note: hai! I'm not sure why, exactly, but it seems like it's been forever since we talked.

I'm sure you're right about that!

A week, probably! And I haven't posted for about a month. Hey, I keep trying to think of IB diploma schools in Fairfax County, but my memory seems to be limited to Virginia schools whose It's Academic teams we met. Hmm. Senior year was the big AP/IB testing year for me - I took more than ten of those exams that May, and a few in sophomore and junior year. But that's IB... testing to get in, testing to get out! The IB diploma is pretty, even if I packed mine away who-knows-where.

An IB student, and a fellow Virginian? That's pretty awesome, actually. And I get a respite for my IB/AP exams for this year, because most of the courses I'm taking are two-year. (Which of course means a helluva lot of testing in a relatively small block of time next year, but to hell with it. I'm a teenager. I live for the moment.)

LOL, I think that was me. And yet, despite the gratuitous hot girlsex, I actually liked this episode and liked Thirteen in it. *hides face*

Shame on you!

Just kidding. She's not REALLY that bad, I suppose, but Wilde is no great actor and, well... Is it odd to say I would like her better if she weren't so gorgeous? Because it's true. House is full of these quirkily handsome or pretty people - like Amber, for instance. Honestly, she wasn't that pretty in the traditional sense. But she made it work for her. Hell, even Chase is a little offbeat, with his horrendous outfits and weird expressions. Then they just drop Thirteen in - all scary-perfect like no human being is - and I think, when did House become Nip/Tuck?
