Firo found himself spending more and more time in the parks. They were a lot more impressive than Central Park, or any of the city's half-hearted attempts to provide grass to look at. He let his head float off into the clouds and as a result just barely managed to skid to a halt as to not trip over Caprice.

He stared at her, nonplussed. "...Why are ya on da ground?"

Raising herself up on her elbows, Caprica opened her eyes and raised one eyebrow at Firo. It's the first time that she can remember meeting him face to face and there's a flicker of annoyance that passes over her; hopefully he'll watch what he says in front of her this time.

"Is there something wrong with lying back on a blanket to enjoy a beautiful day?" She asked after a moment as she lay back again, one hand raised to shade her eyes slightly although that really wasn't necessary.

He wasn't too sure how to react to her. Normally, all that religion talk would've made him alienate her, but then he made her cry... Maybe he'd just ignore that and see what kind of impression she made now.

He shrugged. "I dunno. Ya don' really see anybody doin' dat back home- at least not in public. What if somebody steps on ya?"

"Most people tend to use their eyes to see where they're going." She commented, remembering spotting young couples on Caprica sharing blankets together or students from the university. And Caprica had been far busier than this park. She was sure that even on New Caprica, before her people had arrived, the humans would have indulged in such a thing, even on a desolate place.

She'd truly considered enjoying a moment like this to be a truly human thing.

After waiting quite awhile to see if Len would ever show up on the island with her and being very disappoined, Rin decided it best to leave her building and go exploring. It was all she could do to get a better understanding of just where she was.

Her curiosity led her to the parks. A place that at least calmed her a bit out of her saddness when she saw how beautiful the landscape was all around. As she walked further she spotted a person on a blanket and was instantly hopeful. It was another person just like the one she had spoken to on that video. This was good.

Rin wasted little time running over as quick as her legs would carry her and stopped just at the woman's side to bend over at the knees, smiling down at her. "Hello Miss!"

This time she had been aware enough to hear someone coming and she sat up fully, drawing her knees to her chest as she waited for whoever it was to approach.

"Hello," Caprica replied, smiling slightly. "I'm Caprica-Six, you are?"

She didn't recognise this one although for the past few weeks she had been to occupied with adjusting to truly want to talk much to anyone.

Rin stood herself up straight so she was no longer in the woman's personal bubble. She had to remember to mind her manners now that she was in the outside world.

"I'm Rin Kagamine," she answered with the same cheery disposition she had shown when first walking up.

She pointed to the spot next to Caprica-Six near the blanket. "Do you mind if I join you?" She felt it better to ask since the woman might want to be left alone.

With a nod, she shifted over slightly to make room for Rin. "I don't mind at all, some company would be nice."

She looked Rin up and down, quietly taking her in before she made further comment.

"How long have you been here?"

She'd glanced up through mostly closed eyes to catch Shaun staring and well, that was hardly unusual to her; she'd certainly managed to capture the attentions of Gaius Baltar well enough through being blonde and leggy and through wearing either very little or something that left virtually nothing to the imagination. Still, she waited for Shaun to say something and smiled, sitting up slowly.

"Hello," her knees were pulled up to her chest a little as she made herself comfortable in her seated position, "Have we met before?"

She might have spoken to him through the computer and probably had but she was still content to err on the side of caution lest she find herself rather isolated as a Cylon, something no one else knew about at all on the island.

"I remember," she smiled and raised herself up slightly, extending a hand to him. "Caprica-Six." She kept her hand extending and glanced around at her surroundings for a minute. Really, it was odd to be asked why she was simply enjoying being outdoors.

"It's a beautiful day, it's quiet. I haven't had many opportunities to enjoy being outside in a while."
