Just postin' to let everyone know I'm still alive.

We found out a few weeks ago that my dad has lung cancer.  It's spread, but not so badly that there isn't hope.

And this is very important people-if someone tells you that they or someone they know has cancer, or anything like that, don't say "I'm so very sorry", or look all sad. I know y'all mean ( Read more... )

I had an especially lovely lunch today. I ate out for lunch today, and the waiter who was serving the tables a few feet in front of me looked just like a young Nathan Fillion. It was uncanny. The hair, the eyes, almost everything. The nose was a bit smaller. But he even had that attitude you see sometimes, like when Mal's unhappy about something. ( Read more... )

I'm the middle child in my family. I have ADHD, I'm overweight, I live with my parents, I'm at an entry level job, and I've never dated. I'm 27.

I went to see the psychiatrist yesterday to be evaluated for ADHD. He said I have a very severe case of it. To the point that it is life-threatening, being at risk for traffic accidents as such.
