Some of the current inmates -- well, most all of the current inmates -- of Hunter Townhouse were either throwing themselves into preparing for the upcoming move, or actually working on the move, or even trying to avoiding working on the move.
Nightmare, unfortunately, fell into none of the above categories.
Confused by the buzz of activity and the boxing and removal of the building's contents, and not really understanding just what, exactly, was going on, he was spending his time slinking from one part of the house to another, stressed and growing more agitated.
This was a bad thing, and Nightmare knew it; agitation made it hard to think, hard to remember, and jabbed at him with false hunger-pangs.
Until things began to get hectic there, he tried to stay tucked away in the basement or other out of the way corners. He couldn't just up and leave the building, after all, and the Hunters were busy.
