Last night, Q and I watched The Da Vinci Code. While it was Q's first experience with the story, I was intimately familiar with it. Firstly, I had read the book about two years ago, and was neither impressed or disappointed. Statistically speaking, if Jesus did have children, and his lineage survived, it's likely that a significant portion of humanity would have him for an ancestor. 2,000 years is ~ 80 generations or so. After 80 generations, most of humanity would be your descendant, if your line of descent survived. So, if he did exist and had descendants, then there would be a very high probability that you and I could claim him in our ancestry :)
