I would like to encourage people to take a couple of minutes to read this story or watch the video from the CBS Evening News about a Vietnam War veteran named John Colone. John is a neighbor of mine, and he is an amazing person. I'm so pleased to see his story receiving national attention.

I saw that, fantastic story! It's so sad that the men who managed to come home have that feeling of guilt. Hopefully he is putting that behind him with this wonderful gesture of remembrance.

Both John and his wife are very generous and have done many wonderful things for our little community over the years, but this particular project of his is really special. I can't imagine this place without him!
